Been a fan of voice actor - Junichi Suwabe san after watching Prince of Tennis! Since then, I can recognize his voice immediately when watching anime ❤️
Otori Senpai is one of my absolute favourite Suwabe roles, I love that anime, especially the end of season 2 where he joins his team singing the ED Suwabe is one of those voice actors where I'll watch the show just because I've seen his name in the cast, which is why I've watched probably half of these, although the BLs at the start I watched ages ago without realising they were him, before I got addicted to seiyuus

I wasn't aware abt Hayama Akira (Shokugeki no Soma) and Aomine Daiki (Kuroko no Basket) having the same VA. I really liked their characters in their respective shows and ofc Suwabe Junichi's voice made them more charming.

I knew about Sarazanmai and Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori (didn't find the second one until this year, not sure how I missed it!). I loved both. Sarazanmai has got to be one of the most fabulously bizarre things I've ever watched.
It's not included in this, but I absolutely loved his role in Gad Guard as Katana. It's one of his earlier roles and still among my top five favourites. Life Sexy in Yuri Kuma Arashi is another one, though I'm not fond of yuri content in general - his name in the credits made the whole thing worth watching.
From what I gather, a lot of VAs I follow have done at least one BL role. I suspect early in their careers, they take whatever role they can get, regardless of their orientation.
@@praisethemoon5903 It is a bit shocking at first. I discovered Suwabe-san from his character in Tears of Themis. Looking at his his list of roles, I saw a few BL titles and was like, "Wait. Really?!" Then I looked up other VAs related to him and they had similar roles. I guess it says something about an actor's skill when they have been in unexpected works. By the way, I could not find any official announcements about his marital status, children, or orientation, which isn't all that surprising. Privacy is golden.
@emeraldsoda4059 Yup, I found them through Sukuna but also played Tears of Themis. It's possible he's not even married either cause in the things I've watched for him, he doesn't mention anything
