I love Cloud Defensive. The Chicro is pretty much the same as the streamlight. My streamlight has been doing great, so no need to replace.
Had a Chicro. The Chicro switching between high and low every time it's turned on is unacceptable. How much would it have cost to include proper output selection?
Same
Fantastic sense of humor... keep on keeping on.
I'll keep my streamlights thanks.
If it was made in Africa the " Afro " light.
I hear the Belgian made Bro is superior.
The chicro is garbage. The one I got overheated when it was on for more than 10 min at a time and died completely after a few weeks. Replaced it with a Streamlight.
And bragging about being the brightest at 350 lumin..what a joke
They can solve this issue by changing the name to Chigar (Chinese Garbage).
You can’t go wrong with a streamlight
Me staring at my macrostream usb... 500 lumen high and low. $54
Yep. 100% agree. There are countless flashlight companies that perform nearly as good, as good, or better for a fraction of the cost.
Microstream is only 250 lumens. You're confusing it with the Macrostream which has 500 Lumens.
The Chicro is the same footprint as the Microstream but has 100 more lumens.
Sorry macrostream. Now what? Lol
@@codyhess5713 The Chicro is Smaller, has 100 more lumens and costs $31.
Your original comment makes no sense.
@@BassJunkie200 I carry a Trustfire L2 which is nearly dimensionally identical to the Chirco, and is 1000 lumens. It is also about the same price on Amazon. It absolutely blows the Chirco's doors off. I've been carrying one for 3 years EDC, and it's still going strong.
Time for you to upgrade.
They did an interview a while back with a bunch of navy seals and specifically their weapons and attachments. They pretty much unanimously said they try to run no cables or as least as possible to prevent from accidentally pushing the buttons and giving away their positions and to avoid melted wires or a spider web of cables etc. Basically what I am asking is can you remove the cable on these lights and just run the clicky tail cap and does it come with that option?
I will never understand why companies that make a micro light don't put a hat clip on it. I'll never buy one without a hat clip just doesn't make sense to me
because people like me find hat clips annoying
I don't like lights with clips unless the clip is removable.
Hello again, Caleb! Great video, I like your simple, straightforward explanations of your products! Also, what is your opinion of using 3 In 1 oil for firearms? My Grandparents swore by it, Granny for her foot powered Singer sewing machine and Grandpa for his .22 rifle, he used mostly at hog killing time, and "possum" hunting with his cattle dog! Thanks, Caleb!
So… these are at a price point approaching Surefire Scout lights. I understand that you don’t typically do product comparisons on this channel, but I would need a good reason to consider a weapon light at this price point rather than step up to a Surefire. TBH Streamlight ProTac HL-X is about half the cost of these Cloud Defensive lights and 1/3 the cost of a Surefire M640DFT (after getting a tail cap with push button and tape switch). Is the HL-X a little chunky with a crappy mounting solution for the tape switch? Yes… but I struggle with the idea of putting $300, let alone $500, into a light for a rifle. Especially when I might have more than one. A $500-1,000 optic OTOH is a better allocation of funds to me. YMMV
does that at4 work?
As a prior ESL student, I can atest English is very hard hahahah I can't tell you have many names I have pronounced whatever way I read it in my head.
Awesomeness …. Shreer Awesomeness
Liked, commented and subscribed 🤙🏽🤣
If they made the "Chicro" in Myanmar, they could've called it the "Mycro"
The Cloud Defensive Chicro is the only Cloud Defensive product I will never buy.
Their other lights seem to be worth buying though.
Nice all lights for a ladies small purse or for a man's Suit pocket .
How much?
I know Shaun n Matt. Great guys. Great product. Only light I'll ever have on my AR.
“So: Oops….”
The reviews on customers who purchased Chicros are over 50% failure rate. I would seriously avoid this light.
Don’t buy the Chico. I had mine die after three weeks and reached out to cloud for RMA and never got a reply
Can't recommend these enough. Have an OWL on my AR and a Chicro as part of my EDC for about a year now, both are great.
I have a wide variety of lights on my various weapons, some for years. All of them work, and work well. What kind of endorsement is that?
@@Valorius all I'm saying is I really like them. The OWL has some really impressive specs, especially in the candela department, and is built like a tank to boot, and the Chicro is just a really great pocket light, also very bright on its high-candela mode for what it is and having a USB-C input built in makes it really convenient to charge the battery. All of this is with Cloud's excellent customer service and warranty, they're a great company and are someone I have no problem pointing people towards.
Hopefully my elaboration was good enough for you, o wise and great Valorius lol
@@Pattamatt1998 You were doing so well until the last sentence, when you flushed all that good will right down the toilet. Do better Patt!
Considering I always got an employee discount Reins and OWLs are the only lights I own lol.
Cloud lights are awesome (all of them) but the Rein mount sucks. Go with an Arisaka offset mount. Just do it.
Awesomely overpriced.
Building an 11.5 right now. I have 3 items left to finish it. Romeo 4xt pro, micro rein 3.0, then some sort of visible laser purely for the vibes
A guy from Louisiana speaking English? Wow.
He wanted to show off his "talents".
I have used Modlite and was a fanboy, I hate to say this but hands down cloud is better in all aspects. Better throw at distance and wider angle. It’s cheaper as well since it comes with everything you need. I use the 18650 on (optic set ups) my 13.9” and longer and the 18350 on my 11.5” (Red dot set ups)
"buy once cry once" as he puts yet another gold plated gucci light in his shopping cart.
Interesting to note, Chinese marketing measures lumens a bit differently than American manufacturers. They measure lumen in a stand alone, outside the device condition, American stuff is typically measured while operating in the device. Big difference. That's why a 200 lumen Streamlght is brighter than a 1000 lumen Chinese light.
I test lots of flashlights on my channel from numerous companies. This is a completely nonsensical and false statement.
I'll give you an example: I have 2 surefire G2X's that i've had for years. Every light I have, chinese or otherwise, in the same lumen range or higher, is either as bright, or significantly brighter than it. I tested the new Olight PL3 mini, which is an absolutely tiny light: and it is brighter than both my G2X's.
Your comment is either pure ignorance, an outright lie, or just massive copium.
Cheap commie crap. F--k china.
Shills, nothing but shills.
Wow that was hard to watch.. Please get Educated on flashlight before you start talking about them...
