I really appreciate your close ups on wear tests and reviews. It’s nice to see how products look on actual skin and not from 6 feet away
I love CoverGirl foundations but the last few new ones I've tried since they changed the packaging over I haven't loved as much so I'm really glad to hear this is a good one.
Yeah I am the same, I have tried a couple in their squeeze tube and wasn't impressed. I think this one is reminiscent of their older foundations.
Um this makeup look is GORGEOUS! You do amazing wear tests, so thank you!
Thank you! ❤️
I think that shade of foundation matches you really well. It’s a pet peeve of mine when beauty UA-camrs have drastically different shades on their face than their body 😂
Haha yeah I think some people get a bit fixated with trying to match to their face perfectly, but in reality there is more to factor in. I end up looking like a floating pink face if I match my foundation just to my face colouring haha. I remember seeing Lisa Eldridge do a great video explaining how to find your right foundation shade and she factored in so many different things, like neck, chest, arms, hands, different parts of your face etc. and she explained that she has redness in her face but would never use a pink toned foundation because she doesn't have those tones in her body. It was really interesting to watch!
You look like you could be Gal Gadot's sister in the no makeup clip 😊
Hello Kat! I watch all your videos but rarely comment. Just wanted to tell you, you look absolutely lovely today! Have a great holiday. 🥰
Thank you so much Kathy ❤️
We never really get a great range of Covergirl's complexion shades in Australia. I don't think we get many shades from Max Factor, either. We usually seem to get decent selections from Maybelline, L'Oreal, Revlon, and Rimmel, so I'm wondering if their complexion products historically sell better over here, so stores aren't heavily invested in maintaining a good range from Covergirl? Not surprised by the lack of shades, though.
I think it's sort of a chicken and the egg type of thing. They don't sell darker shades because they don't have them available, but they don't have them available because they haven't sold well in the past. Brands like Maybelline and L'Oreal (which are both owned by L'Oreal) made a point of releasing the whole range of their popular foundations for inclusivity reasons and not profit reasons, which I respect. Revlon has a large range of foundations, but from memory they still don't think they stock every shade available in the US. I don't think Covergirl a very popular brand here, which is why they haven't put in as much effort, but if they did people might buy them more!
What would be the best concealer to use with this specific foundation?
I won’t repurchase the concealer. It creases and looks dry
I bought the powder and I absolutely love it
I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on how the products apply and wear well.
You’re gorgeous
Nice do you think the beige tones are lighter than maybelline fit me beiges, I use light beige fit me but needed something longer lasting for concerts
I’m not sure sorry. It would be best to swatch compare them in store ❤️
I have been using this foundation for many years (may have changed the name at times). It’s my favorite. I do have dry skin in some areas, so I mix it with a drop of tinted moisturizer and it works like a charm! Great review! Glad you liked it!
I really appreciate the closeups, it seems like very feel makeup folks on here ever bother to really show how stuff sits on the skin. Also I really like your blouse, super cute!
Even though I have bought drugstore foundations I feel like they just feel too heavy on the skin and they never have my correct shade. I am very fair and most drugstore pulls a bit dark on my skin. Loved the review. Kisses.
Hmm I think I might need to look into this foundation! Is it scented? Sorry if I missed that if you covered it.
I have the same redness issues and your review was super helpful for that. Might give the foundation a go.
Really love your reviews, thank you!
I love your content so much
Great review thank you
Thanks for the video, I actually have alot of issues with creasing under my eyes and havent yet found anything that works for me, i mean like i feel like sometimes makeup ages me in a really unflattering way haha, do you mind if i ask you for some suggestions to try from your experience, i dont want to fall into the trap of buying a million hyped up items that are crappy ha ha.
If your problem is dry looking creasing under your eyes, the Becca under eye corrector might help
@@ftcmua thank you very much :-)
