nice work. would be nice if you had a video of yourself building it and the products you used. Also how do you find the plastic 1/35 scale figures in comparison to resin?
Thank you... I normally do a build video, but really didn't this time since it was a training project for my 10yr old apprentice :-) Plastic figures are nowhere near the quality of a good resin figure but they were the perfect characters designed specifically for this ambulance/application.
What colors would you use to highlight a canvas color like AK11436 Canvas tone, or Ocher Khaki AK11422. I purchased the AK sets and most of the sets have a highlight and shade color except for the WWII US GI set. If you could provide me something more specific to match those two colors i would be really thrilled. Thank you
I typically don't by extra colors for highlighting, I just mix some white or ivory with my base color and layer thin coats in to apply highlights. The subsequent weathering on top of the highlights can be any number of colors and mediums from acrylics to enamels or even oils, dry pigments, etc.
Well done!
Very impressive, love the black and white shot. Great work!
Thank you Mark!
