This is the first song Tammy had a hit on, I think Johnny Paycheck wrote it. It’s tough to sing it especially the way Tammy did as you can plainly hear.
@@hinsfan1They never mention the songwriters, and in most cases the general public just assume the singer also wrote the song, and I really never liked that and think they should be mentioned as much as possible. But I didn’t know Fuzzy Owens had cowritten this song either. Or the other writer, simply because Johnny was a singer and I just assumed he was the only writer, my bad too.
Love it! I saw her once when I went to see her parents , she was a little girl then. So glad she’s keeping up the tradition.
