Not a lot of folks realize but every single person you heard playing or singing in this song has either won a grammy or been recognized at some point for being the best on their respective instrument. Literally one of the greatest supergroups ever assembled.
I hated to see Vince leave the band but they just keep on playing . That band shows ya everyone is replaceable. Wendy Moten stepped in and they rock. I sure miss Dawn Sears.
These guys are the real deal. They are a group of session players out of Nashville who can play music together without the big egos. I like country and western swing and they guys do a great job of playing those styles of music. It all started in a room backstage at the Grand Ole Opry and today they are getting the recognition they deserve.
Well, except for Vince Gill, Larry Franklin, and Ranger Doug (not in this video). Larry is the first fiddle player with the solo.

little bit of trivia: bassist in video is Duffy Jackson, former Count Basie drummer. He swings harder than just about anyone. Good bassist and decent painist, too, as I remember. His dad was the bassist for Woody Herman's thundering herd.

Use to be a country night club in Nampa Idaho that had Vince Gill perform there 3 times in the 90's called the Twi-lite.
