He made it to 11 wins and ~lost all three games to Kripp. If you and a friend tried to accomplish this working together in the same run it would be almost impossible. That’s incredible!

JC MmmBrains He is talking more about the state of arena and the standard meta more than random occurrences of stream sniping which only happens to top streamers. To be fair, he almost won legitimately all 3 times, and only came close the last time because he was sniping. Seems like a good experience to me.

Hmm interesting point. I find that most times Kripp only opens one pack per video so the Boolean works fine. Also well, new expansion pack opening video would be my undoing...
Surprises me that so many people are like "Hey, at least he conceded!" What does that accomplish beyond letting him see a number hit 12 in a completely meaningless fashion? We aren't exactly talking about someone who needs the max arena awards here - he's playing because he enjoys the games themselves and the experience of playing against other random decks. The purpose of an arena match is already arguably ruined the moment someone deliberately times their queues to queue into you several times and you have to play against the same deck several times in the same run, let alone actively sniping/knowing your deck/tracking your hand for an unfair advantage.
Agreed, but I feel like there's something about this mentality that should be considered; Out of 3 games, Kripp won 2 of them. Maybe the concede was in recognition that Kripp rightfully won the trio of games, and deserved the 12 wins.
Still, the guy shouldn't be sniping.

You could solve the raid issue with raid leaders other than himself, having them taking care of the ugly side while Kripp can just play and stream.
I guarantee people would constantly be running up to him and try to get him to solve any "injustices" done to them by the leaders. Ultimately, I agree with Kripp, it wouldn't be a fun experience for almost anybody involved.

Just let your subs join the guild, doesn't mean they have to raid with you. If they want to raid, make them apply for a raider rank. Lots of players in a guild generates income, and you'll have extra players if you're ever short. win/win in my mind.

At least he hit concede at the end, its fine to "snipe" if all you try to do is get a match against the streamer. But it is bull if you actually watch what cards the opponent draws. Id love to be able to play arena against my friends. Wish that game mode existed.
Honestly at this point I think people are just tired of Hearthstone. The only reason it is still alive is because of people like you, Kripp.
The outrageous prices for packs. The single new mechanic in each expansion. The lack of rewards for people still playing this old game. It's stagnated and doesn't hold players' interest like it used to.
I hope that Artifact is good. Not because I want it to "win", but because even if it doesn't maybe it will help improve Hearthstone.
If it's good, whether it's a HS killer or not, it should have a decent community and it gives you another card game option. Pretty much win/win for everybody else.

Hearthstone’s crafting system is so much better than the open economy of mtg. When I played mtg outside of Friday night magic it felt like you at least partially paid to win.
Just FYI Kripp every normal tcg gaurentees rarities. If you buy the actual way you're recommended to (in booster box sets, not booster packs) you're gaurenteed a certain number of legendaries, uniques, etc.
For instance Yugioh, Magic, Pokemon etc etc all had either a certain number, or a range like 3-4, or 4-5, or a static number of "legendary" or whatever the rarities were.
This is actually the reason hearthstone has legendary guarantees and such after X packs, they just simulating the box set formula.
I imagine it is following the ccg formula, but the reasoning behind rarity guarantees is more of a way to keep people buying than anything else. One thing I noticed recently, is that cards are given rarities that often make little sense. One thing I noticed in Boomsday for example is that a trash tier card, the one that can only attack when you play a spell, is a rare, and I've gotten it numerous times as my rare. That's when it clicked. They will intentionally give bad cards a rare rating, so that you're getting a "rare" but not getting a good card, which entices you to keep pulling the slot lever. I have spent very little money in this game, so it doesn't really affect me, but it is a shitty thing for them to do.

Almost 12k gold?? Jeez I finally made it to 500 gold and thought I was doing something right...
I have around 900 gold, and that's just because I don't play arena as often, so I'm simply not going through it as quickly.
I have 12k gold, and I'm closer to a 6 win average than 7. Lots of streamers have tons more. Like 40k+. This probably isn't his main account, really.
My first thoughts were it's possible to vs someone more then once. My most times I've had was same guy 4 times. 2nd thought was man he sucks as a sniper if hes sniping. Then concede on last game I went yup that's a sniper

I think streamers that have been deemed appropriate for a special right by Blizzard should have the following special right:
Click a button to end the game. No statistical impact. Only works when streaming on twitch.
If they abuse it, their audience will surely react negatively. The audiences that react positively will probably be irrelevant to the big picture.

No. This would be abused to hell and back. There would even be audiences which would support this kind of thing. We do not live in utopia so this would never work the way you are imagining it.

Can you explain how you know he's snipping? To me (I'm new, be gentle) it looks like he's just playing whatever is in his hand, according to what you have on your board. How do you determine this individual is sniping you? It's not like he controls the matchmaking right?
For the most part, Kripp is mad about the fact that he gets sniped(yes you can "control" the matchmaking in a few ways) , actually looking at his hand is 'ghosting', most snipers do that too tho. Probably hard for other people to understand why hates snipers but if you watch more of his videos about snipers you'll understand him a bit more
I know what snipping is, I'm just confused on how you know if someone is actually doing it, and not just playing the game normally.

Sniping means trying to get into your game by looking at your stream and timing your queue to align at the same time so the game picks you as oponent.
The chances of same person to queue into you 2 times in same arena run without using this tactic is minimal hence it is safe to assume it is a snipe. If it happens 3 times it is pretty much a given.
It is hard to get into same player twice even when trying otherwise there would be much more of this because snipers do try hard to do that.
Now. When you snipe you can from that point either play normally or abuse the fact that you know what the player is holding by continuing to watch the stream. Regardless if you do this or not it is still a snipe.
It is however safe to assume that the person would look at your hand because why would you drop the advantage which you unfairly got in the first place?
Why do it and still concede you may ask? To show off. For fame. For the trollz and lollz.

Can someone explain me how much luckbased arena is? I mean I dont see any mistake I make in some games so I suppose my opponent got a better draft. I used heartharena as a draft tool so I ignore at first that my draft was bad.

Hearthstone is literally in Karazhan 3.0 right now but instead of it just being Midrange Shaman, the meta is ruled by 2 classes, one of which is a 0 thought aggro deck (no surprise), and a class that has topped the charts since Mean Streets because all of its decks consist of win conditions that you can only beat by playing warlock or killing them with an aggro deck. Hearthstone has been in a crap position since Karazhan and blizzard just lets the game be in a constant cycle of rewarding people who copy other decks and punishes people for, in essence, trying to have fun. So I think Hearthstone and Blizzard deserve all the shit it gets. Still love the streams and vids tho kripp :)
The lack of variety in opponents definitely ruins the game. I honestly don't understand why they don't let you start at 40 health on ladder. Arena is the most fun I think but even then the skill levels feel fake when you or your opponent just have better board clears or high rated cards.
The only thing that particurarly interests me in hearthstone right now is wild and i dont have the money to enjoy it.
