You would want some sort of weight to get it down in the strike zone. Unlike the Mag Lip plug which dives without any weight dropper, you will need some weight to get the SpinFish 2.0 when trolling. It doesn't take much weight (even 1/2 or 1oz can work).
Haha. I've seen that in the summer when the bug hatch is out. Anything trolled behind the boat works. I may have to work on my rowing to ram them into the boat LOL

I've had luck just trolling with spinners behind a canoe, then you row at ramming speed and they practically jump into the boat.
