One of the most fun tools I've bought in years. :)

Just received it, plane needed some adjustments and blade polishing and honing before usage. Otherwise an exquisitely made piece of equipment. Honing guide is lovely, was disappointed not to have the thinner Japanese style jig included as in the 2015 version, but I should have looked at the contents better.
The finial end can be tricky as the planing action can pull the chopstick up if it’s not tight enough and give you uneven pairs.
Unless you were inviting experienced woodworkers to dinner I’d probably not do the dinner party suggestion otherwise you’re going to be there all night!
A great product though and lots of fun!

Hi. I wonder where we could possibly buy that Japanese chopstick jig similar you are using on the video?

It would be really useful to show how to adjust the plane, rather than just using it as it is.

Lovely jig, fun to use. I'm cutting my own blanks, and finding that the plane is not touching the full length of the chopstick on the last side, and I get traces of saw marks left at the top of that last side. Can I adjust this out?

Hey Malcolm! We suggest making your blanks a tad thicker than 7mm OR you can advance the iron a little bit. Hope that helps!

When I first saw this I thought it was really stupid so I bought one.
It came in today and now tonight, I have one really nice chopstick and one chopstick that looks like a badger made it.
Now I have to find a one armed Chinese person and give them the good ole boy sales pitch.

I didn't mind spending a lot of money on the jig. But I was appalled when I spent all the money on the chopstick bags, only to find out Bridge City plastered a large logo advertising themselves on the bag. Why? I'm not selling THEIR chopsticks, I'm selling MY chopsticks. Very bad form Bridge City. I now have 30 bags that I will be throwing away and I'll never order supplies from you again.
