- Опубліковано 17 чер 2020
- Once the walk-around was finished, we got out with King Boss Quad in his fully customized Can Am Defender Max 6x6 and tried our best to get this UTV stuck. We also got a chance to sit down with KBQ himself - Nick Frenette and talk about what inspired such an insane build. Lots of action here! Stay tuned!!

What's next for KingBossQuad??? He comes up North and smashes some skeg!!!!❤❤❤❤
Not sure he will do well in the skeg but I could definitely be wrong. Haha. 👍
I want to see that!
It’s not a skeg build forsure but it will still be fun , better then stock by far
The battle between wanting a lift but not wanting to break axles 24/7 continues lol good stuff lads
I was at that mud nationals with them. Saw ostacruiser and the sherp. Was an epic mud nats
Hoping to get out with Nick in his Sherp soon. He just picked up a competition ATV that he'll hopefully do a walk-around video on soon. Lotsa toys!!
@@dirttraxtv that will be fun. Can't wait to check it out
Heck ya!!!
mmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Max Puddin !!!!!!!!
To add come context we had the right very rear drivers axle pop-out the day prior doing some crazy stuff, so we were down an axle during film'ing. Then we broke a front passenger when I locked up the diff. We love to party and go deep to bring you guys some cool stuff! Well done DirtTrax
That thing is sweet. Good work
I was just wondering that as i watched makes sense now but as watching i'm like that aint 6X6 when dragging 2 dead axles . Sweet rig but would be terrified rock crawling or uneven hills of roll over .
Hell yeah brother that’s sweet love the story behind the hole thing 🤟🏻
Awesome story and vid Nick!
Awesome
am i the only guy whos been riding atv's and now side by sides for 10 plus years and still dont have a group of guys i ride with haha, almost always by myself. just never really found a group in my area
Think it is pretty common. As long as you get out there and ride!!
John where y from bud? I host rides all the time.
@@kingbossquad Im in New Brunswick!
@@Dreamscythe1 lots of people to go out with in the moncton area
Love the sti badge on the ol honda!
Nice quality video! And beastmode built 👌 goodjob kingbossquad 🙌
Appreciate it!
Im happy to see more of this stuff happening up here. Maybe eventually we will be able to get more after market parts in canada instead of ordering from the states all the time. If you guys did do an event, we would travel down and burry are machines rate with ya.
hey I hear you loud and clear. I know utvcanada.com has been pushing some pretty heavy duty parts up here, try them
Where in Canada ?
So...it can go through water, but it looks like as soon as it hit mud, it's stuck. I'd like to see it our muskeg...it would be toast.
Idk if those portal support the weight of that defender because the front tires look like they have an odd camber angle
Waiting to c y’all in Arkansas at MudNats in Oct hopefully bro . Keep it up dig ur rides
Just hoping at some point we can get across the border again! Currently still shut down for recreational travel.
A stock Renegade on ATR's is a lot more fun! PERIOD
I wish we can get one locally .noone has one in stock in Alaska there is a prepaid waiting list
Nice rig, a lot of money in to it but you really need to be able to lock the front and rear axles.
Get wider tyres then no stuck :)
How come the rear set of tires was not spinning when the other 4 were is there 4x4 and 6x6 mode in it?
Wondering the same thing
@@barrywilliams4660 Popped an axle :) new ones here already
No it on,y runs 4wd the extra two wheels it’s for show mate
3:55 Yes, so many people cheap out and grab a rattle can vs professional level coatings.
Looks like it got stuck super easy
I’m 14 and I get it done on a rancher 350 on bkts.
The only way to make that better is to add a set of tracks....
Seeing how riding has transformed over the years, I question everyday, What's Next?? I got my start on a '80 Honda 110 ATC, and over the years have went from one machine to the next, racing, mud machines etc,. I have come to the conclusion, there are no limits!! Build'em bigger, faster, and stronger! "GOT MUD??"
Awesome! Had a Honda 110 ATC as well!! Grew up riding that. I want to buy another one now just for the nostalgia ...
That thing looks awesome. Too bad both of the rear tires weren't driving on the 3rd axel. Maybe it's not a powered axel.? Still very cool.
Powered axel, we just experience a breakage. Happens...
That's an awesome machine and I respect the build. But those tires look so skinny, at speed they look like there gonna wiggle and snap off.
This is literally just the wastelander from GTA Online
Spares no expense....except one of the most important aspects of off-roading: diff locks? Am I missing something here?
the front suspension seems to be cambering bad on the turn looks like alot of leverage comming from wheel and portal lift @7:00
“ I ride hard , put it through the paces , bro we can see the brand name on your axles still , lead lights are clean and no mud on you or on the windshield “ let’s be real here this is a cool unit barely even being used to it’s potential. You talk about Osta but don’t open the throttle at all lol
So can you run this hard and fast (or at a quick pace) on say a rocky trail without wrecking stuff immediately?
I think it is more of a slow crawler than a high-speed performance SXS.
I guess I was more asking if cruising down trail 20-30mph and hit a big rut or rock how does it hold up?
Will you sell this
How much is it
I would of assumed something that huge and heavy would constantly break, the deck alone is 1500 pounds
Ha. there are kinks to workout for sure. I really do beat on it though, there's no question.
XMR modded in to a hovercraft. All your problems solved.
that massive build and it’s got open diffs???
He broke parts
Axle shaft broke
front diff is a halo. Electronic locker
A turbo M1000 into a 450I chassis and call the arctic wraith. Or the messiah because it would literally walk on water in 4x4 mode with stupid hp you can get from the motor
First
That 6x6 ain’t gonna do very good in some thicc Texas mud just saying
I think KBQ would like to debate that.
Those holes don’t look big enough for that machine that is
Those mud holes have gotten just about every single one of our stock units stuck. This thing just embarrassed us.
Dirt Trax TV Haha that thing needs a 9 foot hole to just maybe get stuck
Too be honest this sxs is not very impressive on its performance. Only 3 or 4 tires were spinning when he was in the deeper water. I would think he would focus on traction and lockers. But that look is not for everyone. But definitely the look that the southern riders usually go for. Cool build but not durable enough to handle rocks or off cambered situations.
I just found out from fox news you have to be a cross dresser or Bi to buy a can am. I honestly had no idea that's the truth man. I still have my arctic cat 1000 all american muscle rig but I thought the can ams were alright, needless to say I was really surprised
"How to make things bulletproof" well, building some a-arms that dont bend just by looking at them would be a start. 99% of the high-lift style are junk when actual leverage is applied to them. If you want to put the smack down in the sound dept you should go to someone knowledgeable like Steve Meade, Johnathan Price, or someone else like them.
I just dont get it. Prefer 80mph bombing the desert.
That's super fun too.
No deserts in Canada.
What is a russian helmet? lol... u mean German.
Less Chatter & More Atter..
ok
Pavement princess. Stock wheelers would not get stuck where he does. You can see not enough horsepower to spin those big wheels
not a sport
