FYI: PSA has come out recently saying not to put the pull tab on submissions. Doesn’t really matter but they’ve stated no pull tab as their preference

@@BREAKfastcards psa cut the sides of card savers to release the cards so pull tabs are unnecessary.

if you’re doing a bulk submission, what’s the most amount of cards you should put in between the cardboard at a time? and is PSA still requesting no pull tabs?

There’s a lot of different methods and reasons for it, getting a PSA rep to say why or if there’s an official article that I haven’t seen that would be nice
Great video. When you open packs live how come you use a toploader to put in the special card in instead of the card saver 1?
I personally use top loaders to store most of my cards. It provides more protection but at the same time it requires a bit more effort to take cards out. PSA requests card savers for easier handling
Card Saver 1 is only for GRADING. He like most collectors use top loaders for STORING and COLLECTING.
You don't want the card to ever sit very tight to any holder or plastic for long storage times.
Especially with chrome or foil cards. Too tight/card sticks overtime/causes damage.
Even some top loaders are too tight.

Typically those cases/mag cases have some movement room which could affect the condition of the card. Best not to risk it
What about factory sealed cards? Take them out of the case or just send the whole sealed case in with sticker label untouched?

What can I do to print the forums if I don't have a printer ? I have a label printer I can print picture images on so could I put the forums on 4x6 labels and throw them in the box ?
I’ve never tried that since 4x6 might be too small to yes since PSA needs to read and write on them

What if it’s a thicker card. Like a spectra auto for instance, still put it in a card saver 1? And will it damage the thicker card being pressed on by the card saver
Typically I keep those thicker ones in a thicker sleeve and thicker top loader with a pull tab. Gently taping the top of the loader so it doesn't slide out during shipping
Thanks mate. This is so far best video about this topic I have seen. What do you think about microfibre cloth to clean up the surface? And do you have any minimum value of the cards that you do send for grading? Have a good day.
I’ve used microfiber a few times and know others that use it. It’s slightly more difficult to clean with but slightly easier in the surface and edges. Minimum value I’d say is the cost of shipping and submission +% profit you’re trying to make. If it’s just for your PC, there is no minimum at all required
I’m sending mine unopened and in the sealed packaging from factory hoping to get a 10 when they open it

Really depends on how safe you want to pack them. Can be 7x5, 9x7, 11x9, just make sure to have enough thickness (at least 3-4 inches) with proper padding/bubble wrap around the cardboard sandwich

Do you write the PSA address on the box like a normal package or do you use the printed address on piece of paper?
Either method works from my experience, but printed allows for least confusion

Yo, for 2022 Mosaic football autographs do I need to just get the card graded or the card and the autograph the dual service? It's a sticker auto
Great question. You don't ever need a dual service for card and auto grade, but there is definitely some added value if both get 10s, and sometimes reduced value if it's a combination of 9 and 10. The simplest option is just to get the card graded. If the card is in good condition but the auto is off (or vice versa), you can grade one and have the other "authenticated" without a grade

What about the one touch holders? I don’t like to handle them more than I have to and one still has the panini seal. Do I have to switch them all over before submitting?
Honestly never tried submitting in a mag. I always take the cards out to inspect the condition because even cards in mags can be damaged from the manufacturer
@@BREAKfastcards i would but the one from with the panini seal is a one of one and looks emmaculate from what I can see, and the others in mags I put there and know the condition and the risk of dinging a corner or edge in the process of switching them doesn’t seem worth it unless necessary
@@rollemproper3087 You could try submitting as is then. If it's just one, PSA might just accept it. If you want to be 100% sure you can reach out to their customer service rep

That's correct. You place them all in 1 cardboard sandwich
If i'm submitting 1 card, can I send in a padded envelope with the forms or does it have to be sent in a box?
It’s not a problem to do that, a box generally just provides better protection
For the barcode that goes on the outside of the box… what’s the best way to apply it to the box?
You can typically just tape it on with clear tape with some overlap to the box itself

Besides cutting your extra boxes or ordering plain ones from Amazon then cutting them, I've come across a brand called Hobby Armor

That's gonna be a bit more challenging, but I'd recommend using specialty sleeves/protectors that can be found at local card shops (for bigger cards/magazines). PSA will still accept those, especially if it's just a few

@@pancake_master0257 I don't recommend sending anything that's not a box or stronger. Bubble/poly mailers can get crushed very easily and you don't want to risk that

Never submitted an encased card before but it seems like you’d have to take it out before submission or PSA will do it for you. Best to contact PSA customer support about this to confirm
If you are submitting 7 cards do you put all 7 in 1 cardboard sandwich or 7 different ones

This might be off topic but what is the DIFFERENCE between PSA and BGS? I’ve been seeing so many of the #117 Jordan rookie cards selling on Ebay for more than $20k starting with BGS but barely saw anyone’s less than that price with a BGS grade. Does BGS require the person to sell their card at a massive price or something like that in order for it to be graded? I know that question might sound ridiculous but I really need to know what is the difference between the two? I’m trying to finally start getting some of my cards graded!
Also how can someone find out if their card is a “1/1”?
PSA is definitely the more popular and mainstream grading company that most people look for. BGS is up there right under PSA but not as popular. BGS does have a higher grade level "10 pristine" and "10 Black label" that are the whole point of submission for a lot of collectors, but they are extremely rare. So when cards do get BGS 10, they are worth more than the PSA 10 equivalent.
1/1s usually have 1/1, "One of One", or "1 of 1" printed on the card itself (front/back)
@@BREAKfastcards ok so BGS will grade the card more “precisely” than PSA will? If that is the case then why do I see many rookie Reggie Miller cards that have been sold at a much higher price with the PSA than the BGS?
@@garrettblaylock7206 I wouldn't say more precisely, but it's because BGS shows a point system with the grade rather than just the final grade like PSA does
Ok got it. But in terms of cards just getting sold overall I am very confused about whether it’s really worth the time for me to try to get Sports autographs signed on cards. Like within the past F’N 10 hours on Ebay I have been seeing many cards get sold more being just graded instead of autographed and graded together. Do you know if that actually happens much of the time or could it be an actual glitch on their website? For example I saw two non-signed PSA Luka Doncic cards sold at a higher price than a signed and 9 graded one! Another example is a that 3 Hakeem Olajuwon unsigned rookie cards got sold higher than a signed one. The highest priced unsigned one got sold $5,500 more! Like WTF I’m very confused!!! Signed cards are supposed to have much more value than just graded cards. I’m basically asking is it worth the time in trying to get the cards signed before being graded???

Those are typically created by a third party and can be printed/taped using a normal printer, or by using a thermal label printer
