I've always been into the alternative/indie/underground scenes since I was a child. Concurrently, my older brother was always playing FIFA and collecting his taste through that. This reminds me lots of childhood summers spent annoying each other and exchanging music with them (without admitting it)
My younger brother used to do the same thing, I used to think he was just watching me play but he said the other day to me that those music influences always stayed with him. So cool and I didn't even notice at the time
the first time I heard this song, I had literally just moved to Minnesota. a close friend drove the uhaul from Florida to MN so I could fly there with my son. anyways he and I went driving around the town I was moving to, we were munching on cheese curds and driving through the bluffs and we came over the bridge as this song came on. I remember this because the Mississippi River was flooding. we were listening to an indie rock hipster public radio station and we were loving it. they were playing old school punk and some newer obscure stuff. this song came on after a prince song and he and I looked at each other both befuddled and not sure wtf to think. we were laughing and making fun of it doing weird dances and then out of nowhere he looks at me and said "it kinda grows on ya!" I had been thinking the same thing. we always bonded over music. it's a passion of ours. he died 2 years ago. 11/24/14. he was driving home after work and crashed his motorcycle into a city work Truck and went flying right into an audi and landed on the pavement. I miss him everyday. I even wrote a song about him and put it on UA-cam. we'll always have the music and memories. #RMFL

Today i heard the track on a 1:30 long clip on youtube and the "she can say" part peaked out...googled it...and finally got the song! I SWEAR IT HAUNTED ME!
I remember my uncle playing this album in the car in 2010 on a trip and it instantly hooked me. I think I was around 12 or 13 at the time. Soon after I downloaded it onto my mp3 player and played this album on repeat for the better half of a year. I had so many great memories with this album playing in the background. I’ll never forget it. I’m 21 now.

After 11 years, I found this song in the second episode of first chapter of only murders in the building during a scene where there was a party and the song played for a few seconds. Made me go deep into my memories and remember these good old fifa 11 days.
If the rumors are true about this being in GTA VI. Then this song sure is an awesome pick for the game. I can imagine the iconic sunset of Vice City with this perfectly when you're driving and hitting the waters; not to mention the police chases. Except, well, it is modern day and I'm sure its gonna work out well with graphics that are sure to be incredible. I cannot wait to see it!

Just now hearing this song for the first time in 2018 and WOW what a gem have I been missing out on. Me and some buddies took a trip to the woods this last weekend and walked a 6 mile hike on LSD and mushrooms. Saw these guys back in april 2012 when they opened a Radiohead concert in Mexico city. I was a young college student, i had the most beautifull girl, I was completely happy and i didn't ever knew it. The best times always come with it's own soundtrack.

I had a similar experience with MGMT when I was 14 in 2008 when I heard Kids. It was relieving to hear music that was thoughtful that wasn’t so angry.

I heard this song in my head for almost a year, and had forgotten the name.
I would harmonize the delivery and the beat but no one or even the ShaZam app. Could recognize the sound I was trying to convey. Then, I got High as 🦒 Ass. And remembered the cover art, once the cover art came to mind. The word “Caribou” just came to mind.
