- This video was recorded November 1st 2019. I bought my impact a week before and wanted to test it out using a 4ah battery. Just recently found this video. Also had no issue on the GM trucks (Tahoes, yukons) the same day but didnt record those
You have an interesting hobby.
This is the video that I have been looking for!! I appreciate it
I must say that, indeed that drill is a beast, I just bought it last week and it was the right choice
Impact wrench*
I got sold on one when I saw it take a rusty old yoke off like it was nothing 5 years later it is beat to hell and still a beast!
That makes me feel even better about getting one. Thanks.
Hilarious and incredible. I wants it. Just a matter of time before I get it. Hopefully it will let me get rid of my HF 3/4" pneumatic impact that I got just because of axle nuts. Highest torque application on all cars I've ever worked on.
Get the dcf891b, it’s just as powerful as the one in the video and it’s smaller.
Yep. Definitely a mouth breather.
Cool, I’m gonna get the dcf891b which is just as powerful as the 899.
This is the BEST
Master piece of dewalt 899 exorcism 101.
What a beast
Junkyard dumpster babyy!!
How does it work on a Honda crankshaft pulley bolt?
It doesn't lmao. But I tried with a regular impact socket, before I knew there is a actual big socket just for honda crank pulley. Tried on my 2005 v6 accord.. A snap-on air impact didn't work either if that means anything
Reminds me of a game of Doom....got the BFG1000 in hand and mowen 'em down!
Could you specify what’s model it’s that Dewalt ???? THANKS:,).
It literally says in the title what model it is
I just wonder why the bolts on all wheels are new and rust-free compared to other suspension components. Isn't that an advertisement and fake ?
I didnt go around changing axle nuts and undoing all the bolts by hand n then barely tighten them back up so my impact gun could look good. Normal suspension bolts come off alot easier if you wanna know. Since the bolts are half the size of a axle nut
@@julz9272 Ok ok if so that's ok. But in other videos I saw that the hub nuts were the same rusty color as the other parts, brake discs or drums. But for me it's ok, I wanna buy this dewalt
@@julz9272 LOL you know good and well that you took the time to change every one of those just make the Dewalt look good.
All jokes aside I have the same gun and it's badass. It's rated at 1,200 break away and axle nuts are torqued I've heard between 200-250, the 899 could chew through that all day. If mine broke today I'd buy another tomorrow, awesome tool.
@@CaseySexton yea man I got mine last October this was the same day it came in the mail from amazon. I beat the hell out of mine and its only let me down once on the crank bolt, On my v6 2005 honda accord. But the snap on air impact we had couldn't get it off either so we used 3/4 inch ratchet and about 5 ft of cheater pipe. I have a 4 year warranty on mine which has a little under 3 years left so if anything happens I'll definitely get me another.
most fwd axle nuts are zink plated so they dont rust
Axle nuts are not that tight.

Guns junk. Couldn't take off Ram caliper bolts after 3 uses. Probably got lemon. But as dewalt guy. Not sold on this one.
