This is such a fantastic parody/tribute to 80's rock... from the costumes to the over-the-top number of keyboards, drums, extra limbs, lol. And yet they still shred (esp Henrik) and show their insane musicianship and have fun like they always do. I LOVE these guys!
This is a single from their new upcoming album, and I cannot wait for the rest of it to drop! This ridiculous, über-epic, glam rock/pop anti-love song anthem not only has Henrik growing an extra pair of hands and legs to do the splits, Aron on his see through mega kit sporting a sweat band, Jonah in glitter 🤣… but carved out a new way of playing the bass. In ‘TECKreacts’ comment section, Anders Mattisson, the maker of the Mattisson basses, comments on one of the basses Henrik is playing for this clip. And it’s super interesting, check it out. Yeah, Dirty Loops have gone the extra mile again in making this epic stunt piece. Filmed at Ericsonhallen in Sweden, and with that light show, it’s perfect for their over-the-topness ;) And yeah, hearing them live WOULD be a blast!! 🔥😱☠️😂💥 See if you can crowdsource a ticket to one of their US concerts ☺️ Thanks for the react, dude 👍
It's a parody _and_ homage to 80s Stadium Rock. I'm glad you laughed uncontrollably at the extra hands; me too.😂 If you watched the early (60s/70s) "Dr Who" series, you'll recognise those props. The entire visuals are a 'Total Hoot'. Removing Henrik's part, it was a great Stadium Rock composition and performance. It would have worked across the 80s and early 90s on any continent. Henrik took it into the next millennium. 😎 Best Wishes. ☮
This is why I love Dirty Loops. You never know what to expect and no matter what you love it! I wish they were played on the airwaves in the US and Canada, because they certainly deserve to be.
What a great reaction! I laughed right along with you although I’ve seen this video several times before. I just adore these guys, saw them in Stockholm last fall. They never disappoint. You know, on their website, you can request a show in your area. Hope you get the chance to see them live!
Seen 10+ reactions already but been waiting for this one. Didn’t disappoint! 😄👏🏻 Knew you would appreciate the show, the shredding, the goofiness and the credits (they got more easter eggs for us swedes in this one; politicians with names that has ”run” in them, special thanks to a toilet paper brand, a funeral home, a cookie brand and Weight Watchers). I like Jonahs Elton John-style, Henriks JCVD epic split and Arons ”I’m just Ken”-vibe. 😎😂 Btw, you should do a fundraiser for a travel to one of their US shows and post a vlog from it or something. I would chip in! 😉
This was the first single off their new album. At the beginning, you see the beaver on the purple background. That is the cover for the new album. There is more to come.
After this, Henrick would have to play something similar with the bass on fire (or hanging by the legs upside down) to exceed this. He plays the double bass for the power chords (easy part and just for visual show), but then the single Barbie bass for the other stuff. He knows which tool to use when.
you’re rarely speechless. i was too when i saw this video. didn’t sound like their older stuff at all, its really incredible and i can’t wait for the whole album to drop! it sounds so new and different! Exciting!!
This is not the same super technical and complex Dirty Loops. This is just a big show (with the help of their super sound Engineer) to catch people (after 10+ years seen other less-talented people getting most of the attention and followers). Good strategic marketing move !!!
Poking fun at the 80's The 4 hands on the bass great!!! Thank Norse for ruining my day. Now I have to burn my studio! I'll use my sticks for kindling. Thank you also Henrik now I'll have to by a Bass.FUCK ME!!!!!!! 🤪🤪🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is not the typical Dirty Loops. They are trying to establishing themselves as as rock band (catch more attention and followers) with an epic song (kudos to the sound Engineer) so everyone then go back to find their other music .... and be amazed. Their 4th musician (the sound Engineer) is as powerful and talented as them.

Yes! A spectacle, lol! It's a parody of 80s pop/metal I think! But with their usual fantastic musicianship! They're so hilarious!

There are so many references to the 1980’s in this video. I won’t spill it here, check it out yourself 😎
Oh, I'm definitely going to give it another view. Too good not to.

80's style plexiglass double bass drum kit just like back in the Hair Metal days!

Look out he's learnt how to tap :P

Yes, exactly, like Queen, in a sense! Nice reaction! Sorry they aren't visiting your neighborhood! Great to have you reacting to Dirty Loops agan!!

Fundraiser -my idea too ;)
And somewhere in this vid there is a fake headstock with a fake cigarette stuck to it, Van Halen-style…
Such trolls 😂
Loved your reaction - Dirty Loops is artistry on another level both musically and their sense of humor!

I think it's a capybara which is also why they mention it in the credits. Still, cool symbol/mascot haha
@@MusicalJackknife correct!
By all accounts they're literally just as good live. I'll find out in Houston on Apr 20th.

Great reaction! They start a US/Canada tour in 2 weeks… I’m going to the Chicago show on 4/3… can’t wait!
😮😂 - right?!
They are touring the US and Canada this month and next. I cant wait to see these guys live in Denver.
Superb!

NYC in a couple of weeks, baby!
fenomenale music spectacle. ! 1000 points 2 u
They'll be in san Fran and L.A. in a few months.
No wonder Henrik Linder needs an extra pair of hands to shred the way he does!
Sensacional
As i understand it this is the start up single before their full album
So fantastic! Can’t wait to see them in NYC next week
🔥🥰🔥
Great sounding drums especially for acrylic. Not known for great sound quality I still have a set with roto toms also.
I hardly think Aron recorded with this drumset. But it’s great for the show 😄
@@beatrisahellstrom7604 Ya think?? I have been playing for 50 years it was a joke!!!
I think Henrik has been watching to much Polyphia!! 😂
Insanely good ❤
❤😊❤

Dirty loops goes Polyphia. With Henrik emulating two guitars and a bass.😊🎉🎶🖖
Parody, done by master musicians. Shit you do NOT see every day.
Esthetically it's like a mix of Monty Python and Peter Greenaway.
so... this is like Alex van halen on bass... whole other level... dirty loops is the best.

Have u heard
Grayscale Season?
I have not. Any songs in particular? I'll check it out.
@@NORSEVIKING they have a new album out..
- still hurts
- Custom painted
Start there 😊
What happened to scallywags?
Henrik Van Halen!
Sinth bass. Very interesting musicality. Also there are no verses just a chorus. Yeah the hand is fake lol.
Hvis du kunne lytte til Aron, Henrik og Jonah! Men for meget forlangt for din nationalitet? Men forsøg igen! ;-)
Henrik won over the competing arms.
