Christian Was Just A Wrestler In WWE But TNA Treated Him Like A Main Event Guy
Absolutely, he was my favorite heel years ago before TNA
Christian was a Tag Team star in WWE with Edge
That’s because there so much better than Christian in WWE in TNA there was hardly any big names. Have some common sense.
Seriously? Did you not see how big edge and christian were when they were a tag team? Christian was a star. It just his solo run wasnt good because he was in a era where the rock, hhh, stone cold, undertaker, kurt angle. Etc existed in and then batista, cena, lesnar, eddy guerrero, chris beniot, shawn micheals, randy orton were there also it just there was much better talent and higher star power than him in wwe thats why he couldnt do much as solo wrestler but he was an big star as tag team.
Christian is a midcarder
The last one where everyone was yelling Goldberg 😂😂
I like storm, but i feel that goldberg was a better to debut and break Crimson streak
Ray and D-Von's reactions to Road Warrior Animal showing up was awesome.
They looked so excited. I felt really happy for them.
My dad is friends with road warrior animal
@@christianjohnson8642 that's awesome man!!!
Ricanson21 yeah and he was aquatinted with Rick rude and curt henning and most of the wrestlers from Minnesota back in the 80s and 90s
@@christianjohnson8642 hell ya!!! I'm from Minnesota so that's awesome to hear!
TNA 2005-2009 sweet memories
True

#FACTS
And then hulk hogan ruined everything by getting involved in every storyline
Oh God yes.
Timothy Fogarty he made everything about him, aces and eights, fortune, suicide unmasking
That Abyss theme was dope 🔥🔥🔥
hari jha It sure was and it still is!🔥🔥🔥
Someone agrees with me
If there was ever any Impact theme song worthy of the word "iconic", that's the one
Kane?
Hell Yh
Christian was intercontinental champ at the time, wwe wanted flair for the hall of fame so they let Christian make an appearance in tna, he was uncomfortable about it
That's why he came out cursing down the ramp dropping f bombs lol
Lol really?
@@OSCARSJOINT apparently he thought that being traded for ric was actually a positive since tna requested him specifically for the ric trade, which speaks volumes about how they think of him.
@@SeelkadoomandJokic00 you right, I remembered wrong
He should love and kiss the floor impact walks in. They actually used him properly while he was disrespected in wwe
I think it's unfair how underated Christian is
@@BlackDeadpoolEarth2046 none of his singles title reigns in WWE were long enough
Dylan Clarke That's because his skills as in wrestler was ok at best he had looks and chrism of a wrestler but sadly like I said he just didn't really have any of the in ring talent that it takes to be a wrestler I'm not saying he sucked as a in ring wrestler because he didn't I'm just saying he wasn't very good at it.
@@mattford6848 That's your opinion
@@mattford6848 So which great champion of WWE is really an in ring technician- John Cena, The Rock or Roman Reigns?
Hardcore champion
Captain charisma is the most underrated wrestler dude amazing
WCW with Hogan: Doom!
NWO with Hogan: Doom!
TNA with Hogan: Doom!
I love it all. Grew up watching 44 years now.
Christian should have stayed ❤️😭
@Goopy Le Grande He was best ECW Champion in WWE of all time.
Adam oh yeah of course, especially when WWE can offer you more money
Not really
@@Unique007 wwecw
no . he more wwe type
I remember Christian was action the Intercontinental Champion when he came back for one night
Last call never gets old but feel bad for crimson he had something insane
Funny that everyone thought that Goldberg was gonna debut in TNA and they were glad when James Storm came out 😂😂😂 Abyss theme when he returned was 🔥🔥🔥
4:37 Sounded like the announcer was about to say Hawk, that would have been awkward...
Or you mean hawkWARD LMFAO
@@dekoynovahpretty XD
Road warrior Hhhanimal!
No. 1 was so good it should be replicated this year at Slamiversary. Impact’s product is back to its grassroots and best level since Scott D’Amore and @CyrusOverHuge . Storm is in great shape and is a legend of the company imo. Bring him home lads
TNA used the be so lit back in the mid 00's
I hope this means that someone is returning this year at Slammiversary! Maybe Davey Richards?
BrandoSciandra he retired
@@coolman952 He came back in January
I think Sabin, Crazy Steve or/and Davey will return
@@coolskeleton9580 Sabin is out with another injury
@@aRo93 He could come back and not have a match until he's healed . Like when Rosemary returned at BFG
I would to see AJ Styles Samoa Joe Bobby Roode Bobby Lashley Eric Young Drew Galloway Jeff Hardy Matt Hardy James Storm EC3 return to Impact Wrestle
They arent
I know
Never happening
Impact is trash
ayaan tahir wwe sucks
That count was kind of fast and Tenay's reaction to the streak ending didn't have any emotion behind it.
Nobody:
Scott Steiner 2:25: Kaz, tonight, I'm gonna screw you!
I wish James Storm would come back for one last run with IMPACT. Even though the story behind it was great, it's not right that he's only a 1 time world champ and that reign only lasted a week.
Yes, absolutely Storm should’ve got more push, I’ve got a pretty heavy schedule, never got to watch tna as much as what I wanted, I felt like Storm could’ve been the next icon (in time)
No
@@kellyedwards6429 Good point.
Your right Storm should've won the World Title at either Lockdown in 2012 or BFG 2012 and also when he was the leader of the DCC and The Revolution in 2015 and 16
Agreed Storm should have one last run and be put in the Impact Hall of Fame this year.
Wow, impact went from huge crowds to nothing
Thanks to Hogan!!
Tuhin Roy and Eric Bishop. They tired wayyy to hard to turn TNA into WCW 2.0 and it failed. My favorite run was during the early days right threw when Christian Cage was the champ. I liked the additions of Sting and Kurt Angel, but after that it just went downhill.
That's stupid how was it thanks to hogan. Hogan got there highest rated tv segment got them there largest attendances. had the loudest pop in tna history (vs sting at bfg) probably sold more merchandise than any other impact wrestler ever. As soon as hogan left they lost a million viewers a week. So how exactly is hogan to blame? If anyone's to blame it's Dixie carter for screwing up the spike tv deal
@@jordanne05 do you even know HOW MUCH THE YOUNG TALENTS were FRUSTRATED getting pay cut, for those big stars. Huge amount of money TNA lost during 2011-2013.
Tuhin Roy they went for it and so they should. Casual fans that was lost during the start of the millennium are not going to tune in to see young guys they have never heard of. You need stars people recognise and feel nostalgic about. Then blend that with young guys and get the casual fans you now have the attention of to be interested In the young guys aswell. I honestly think the biggest problems tna had was 1) Dixie Carter 2) been too much like the wwe 3) been stupid with there story lines (when Samoa joe got kidnapped and it never got explained).
TNA had huge audiences during the old day's
Storm ending Crimson's streak was such a let down
Oh well
I can't watch the hogan era clips without cringing
Now that Chris Parks is signed with WWE I would love to see him wrestle 1 time as Abyss.
Fun Fact: Christian was WWE Intercontinental Champion and Of Course With WWE At the Time. Then Months Later Ric Flair while in TNA came to WWE for HOF imagine if AJ Styles did that while in WWE that’ll be dope
Now he's Johnny Entertainment 😂
It pissed me off so much when Storm ended Crimsons undefeated streak. I was thinking about this just the other day.
Marcus Flax It was stupid when Brock defeated Undertaker at WrestleMania but we got over it
Marcus Flax if you think about it sense impact and wwe made a trade for one night it would have been cool if Christian ended the streak because Christian had the same kinda unpinned and submitted streak I don’t think out of Both of his world title reigns he was ever really pinned because i remember joe was the like the first one to get a submission win over Christian
@@kgrace1985 I'm still not over it..... 🙃
Don and Mike were an amazing duo on commentary. Every match, every move, every moment was special with those two.
Damn tna was packing the house back then
look at that crowd when storm returned to fight crimson
The Black Nostalgia Nerd all I hear is Goldberg chants or is it just me at the beginning
Looking at impact when it is in its prime
Shark Boy Slammiversary 2017
Muito bom Impact e show de bola principalmente as Dicas super fã delas abraço a todos aí do Impact 👋👋👋👋👋
Abyss!!! Abyss vs early Kane would have been awesome.
Kane would of destroy him 😂
Awesome and classic top video here of this ppv...👍👍🤘🤘
say whatever you want, but my opinion is that TNA/Impact Wrestling is the better 10 times than WWE 1st grade kids show. What I like about TNA is that they always go extreme in matches like ECW did. Storyline about Su Yung and Rosemary was so amazing I even felt like watching coolest ever horror movie. No one will defeat IMPACT WRESTLING even AEW
Impact has always been unique
CC should’ve stayed in TNA
keepingitrealawesome at the time Christian still signed with WWE and he was Intercontinental Champion
nah then we would of never got to see him and edge team up again
All these years and the Starship Pain still doesn't connect properly.
D-Von was thrilled about mixing it up with RWA
How the hell wwe or aew signed James storm
I miss the good days of TNA😢
Christian should of been #1
Must be a trip for the Dudleys to wrestle against Animal. They took one of their tag team moves straight from the Road Warriors
I really hope that someone big coming back to impact wrestling
Lol with wwe and aew throwing money out crazy, no one is going to tna.
Shawn Schaper I could see ring of honor and impact wrestling doing crossover show
Shawn Schaper not true that’s why Kylie Rae left AEW to go to impact & Chris Bey turned down an offer from AEW to go to impact & Deonna Purrazzo wanted to go to impact after AEW called her & Acey Romero wrestled a few matches with AEW & is now also with impact.
Christian will always be known for having a better run in TNA than in WWE. I know a lot of the comments say that, but it’s true. Even though wwe had finally let Christian be a two time world champion, it still doesn’t compare to the NWA championship reigns he had in TNA. Along with a lot of other talents WWE has had for the past couple decades, Christian is somewhere at the top of the list that deserved more recognition in WWE.
Same for Matt Hardy
The 3 shown in thumbail, all former WWE/WWF wrestlers lol sums up Impact
@@XboxRocks2001 ouch, my feeling have been hurt by words from a faceless homophobe on UA-cam 😢
Christian is one of my favorites I grew up watching wrestling probably around the time that he and Edge debuted on tv Edge is my favorite wrestler of all time he and Christian were my favorite tag team
#1, is the crowd chanting Goldburg! ?? Lmao
Streak gimmick
Nothing kills a return quite like announcing who it is right before the music hits.
Christian is the most underrated superstar in wrestling world till now. I gotta admit that he is the one who draws us back to the childhood time of our which gives us a nostalgic sensation through our every point of body. I love his theme song in WWE and TNA. Most important he was creepy little bastard.
Christian got the same pop in impact like he did in wwe
Amazing!
Fans knew about Animal returning before it happened
Miss john Morrison in wwe..my childhood fav star
4. Christian Cage shocks the world [2012] is my favorite Top 5 Slammiversary Returns.
Always been a fan of the Cowboy. His work is always top notch and he brings it.
I just wanna hear eyes of a hunter hit after the arena goes dark. Even if its a one off
2018 Impact was one of there best after so many years of BS.
2005-2012 was good times for impact/TNA
5:50 that shows how popular Kevin Steen/Owens is.
The mooooost shooooooking retuuuuuurn the legendary ring..., I miss this 🥺
John Morrison reunited the Miz in the dirt sheet,Christian returns in royal rumble joins edge, and all wwe superstars reunited in royal rumble, survivor series, and wrestlemania
6:08
Abyss vs Stroman would be nice to see
Why everyone chanting Goldberg at 5:38 ??
Because *TNA* Fans are autistic.
Because they had built Crimson as a knock-off Goldberg.
i miss those days
Bruh rick steiner didn’t even say anything in cornette’s ear 😂
Christian was intercontinental champion when he made this return
I wish they would actually show bound for glory 2010
I loved Christians TNA run, and was really excited about him showing up, but he looked like he would rather be anywhere else
I love Johnny Impact❤
Even though he's a heel?
@@deandreushayes6110 I don t care . I loved him since he was " John Morrison " in the WWE . This man s moveset is awesome
Me too
big poppa pump and little poppa pump lmao
Edge and Christian were a phenomenal tag team, one of the best ever and despite me not liking Edge as a character he was undoubtedly destined for the main event. Christian was also great as a singles wrestler but not necessarily a main event one. I personally liked his character a lot more than I liked Edge but I don't think he was WWE main event material.
I'm certainly not putting him down and there were times when it would've worked or made sense to have him as a main eventer. But not everyone can or should become a main event wrestler and the ones who wrestle as mid carders or below are often just as important.
That's what made eras like the attitude era work so well and why it was so entertaining and unmissable from the beginning of each show right to the end. Mid card guys like Goldust, Al Snow, Road Dogg and Val Venis were all on my favourites list as a kid and were as important for the success and evolution of the company as guys like Stone Cold and The Rock.
Just because Christian wasn't usually portrayed as a main event guy who competed in main event WWE Championship PPV matches every month does not mean he wasn't and isn't appreciated by both the fans and the company.
Oh, and incase I haven't rambled enough already I would also like to say that outside the world of the WWE Christian did work as and deserve to be a main event star.
2012 ...the most amount of crowed tna gathered😍😍😍
Abhijit Bhattacharjee 2013 with lockdown at alamo dome
@@markmichel3855 do u know the no. of crowds
Omg Christian came.
He is so OP.
But y he left??
He is too good for Impact viewers.
Unique_007 impact doesn't pay that much
OP
You play pubg right
What’s your @ tho 👀
You are gorgeous
Unique_007 he was a wwe champion at the time
And the crowd go mild...
This slammiversary moments are much better than mania nowadays.
Tna always have guys leaving and new guys coming but they survives based on their storylines and utilisation of existing challenge .. crazy none of them are with tna anymore
WHAT A RUSH
Hogan saying I'm quitting and taking bishoff hall and Nash and flair would have been the greatest moment for impact that night
Wow that crowd couldn't have cared less about Christian
Looking at the crowd size and talented roster tna was the aew of back in the day.
Yussaf Malik Yeah and just like AEW TNA roster was nothing but fromer WWE talent back in the day still kinda of is but it's less noticeable and that's why it failed.
Johnny was announced in 2018 how is that shocking? How about the return of Low-Ki in 2006?!! Kevin Von Erich in 2014 in Texas was awesome!!?
I miss the old gud TNA days 😭
Johnny Impact: From ROADKILL in McMahon's Circus...to HOOD ORNAMENT in Impact Wrestling. :)
And Hogan should have been edited out of#4; gloryhogging SOB - always trying to make it all about HIM.
5 of the wwe original TLC tag participants were at one point a heavyweight or world champion in WWE and/or tNa
DW X only Edge didn’t cross over to TNA and if I’m not mistaken, Devon was the only one who did not hold a World Title sadly.
Hopefully impact starts bringing back some of there own older talent like James storm and AJ Bobby roode etc one day down the line when there done with nwa and wwe
AJ is never leaving WWE unfortunately, that's what he said in an interview.
Motor City Machine Guns, Chase Stevens, Eric Young, Ken Shamrock, Hernandez, RVD & Rhino are with the company now so they do have their older talent back
@@packedentertainment2866 yea true but chase Steven's and ken shamrock weren't around much originally
Jonathan Hamilton Chase Stevens was in the naturals where they looked very promising & Ken Shamrock was the first world heavyweight championship in Impact
AJ, Daniels, Joe, the best matches in TNA history.
5:24 CHALLET
Hm... why is in the endcard a picture of WWE employees at the right bottom corner?
Was the crowd really chanting "Goldberg" with the Crimson segment?
please james storm come to wwe and make bobby roode great again!!!
no Roode should leave WWE and go to NWA where Storm is
3:58 who's that lady with the bombs
All I gotta say is RIP Road Warrior Animal
Tna should have hired me to write this stuff
0:52 someone wores cm punk T-shirt
Felt quite bad for Christian Cage. He was main event in TNA but wasted in WWE
Son Rayzer WWE made him famous so they didn't waste him at all.
Ok I'll be more specific, he was wasted in WWE post TNA apart from his World Title run.
