Thanks for the very descriptive installation video! I'm thinking of buying the fog light set up for my 2011. You should make more UA-cam videos. You do a good job explaining the process.
boots10804 yeah here’s the link to the kit I bought. I just followed this dudes tutorial and it worked out perfect 👍🏽 www.fastwrx.com/products/subaru-morimoto-fog-lamp-kit-2011-2014-wrx-sti
great video man! Very helpful, I was just looking for how to replace the bulb but ended up watching it all.. Also I notice the FF license plates. From one firefighter to another, be safe out there brother!
I found this video very helpful. Mine are cracked open and the replacements didn't come with instructions. Thanks for including the measurements for adjusting them.
just want to say i needed to take my foggy off to get a broken off bulb in it, your vid helped, i would spoon you if you were in arms reach! Thanks heaps, VERY HELPFUL!!!!!!! btw, i didnt have to pop off the plastics underneeth or jack it up. I popped off the side vents which gives you enough room to put them in and out through the hole.
My Subaru is pre wired but it doesn’t have the fog light switch inside the car do I need to buy one or will they go on when I turn on the car? I did not receive my fog lights kit yet this is why I’m asking
In the kit I ordered. You are provided with a new blinker/light switch which you must install on the steering wheel. I would assume that your kit includes this. I have another video on my channel detailing that install.
I bought the kit from a local dealership, you can also buy it online on Subaru's website and I'm sure you could find the kit on other websites as well.
Ajai Moni I bought these from a local Subaru dealer, you can also order them from the Subaru website parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_2013_WRX25L-TURBO-5MT-4WDWAGON/_52016_6026707/LAMP-FOG-11MY-/G12-845-03.html I'm sure if you did a little searching around you could find it cheaper somewhere else, Amazon or Ebay. Glad you liked the vid!
I don't have a number for the kit and I couldn't find one with a quick search but here is a link to the exact kit from subaru: parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_2013_WRX25L-TURBO-5MT-4WDWAGON/_52016_6026707/LAMP-FOG-11MY-/G12-845-03.html The link has part numbers for the individual parts. There are also multiple reputable dealers with a google search. Or calling up your local dealer. Best of luck!
This is unclear especially when you explain how to adjust the fog light you could’ve shown us how to, that part where you mentioned how to adjust by moving the “prongs” I couldn’t even see them.
Mr Wilson you’re an idiot, he literally says “Turn it either way to move up or down” it’s not rocket science bud, once you actually buy the fog lights you’ll see for yourself,

You bet! I tried to make something that I would want to use if I was in the process. As soon as I get some more parts I'll make some more!!

Hello I'm from the Chicagoland area , but living in Minnesota. Is the inside of the car pre wired too?
I found this video very helpful. Mine are cracked open and the replacements didn't come with instructions. Thanks for including the measurements for adjusting them.
RockboRising No problem, I'm glad they helped out!

Dude awesome video! I just ordered this kit for my 2011 plasma blue. I think i might order a new front bumper too to complete the front.
Rock on, glad you liked it! I'm probably due for a new bumper myself at this point, mine is looking a little old...
Excellent video.
My outback came with fog light kit, but changed to PIAA Crystal Ion bulbs. Amazing light output.......
I'll have to check that out, I'm not impressed with the stock light output and have been considering doing something about it for some time.
Hardest part of the fog light install is removing the upper steering column cover. Rest is surprisingly easy!
thank you . you are good in step by step and details thank you. saves me lot of money

Does anyone know if the fog light wiring is under the bumper for 2013 brz Limited?
Where do you buy the fog lamp kit
I bought the kit from a local dealership, you can also buy it online on Subaru's website and I'm sure you could find the kit on other websites as well.
Could you possibly send a link to the website that you got the fog lights with the housing?
Did they work plug and play? Or did you need to buy the relay and fog light switch?
Also wondering. Because my 2010 doesn't come with fogs. The pigtails are there, but no bulbs and no switch inside the car.
@@dougiespeare123 did you figure that out? Im also curious
are the plugs already there ready for fog lights to be installed?
Yes they are.
Are fog lights running day lights?
Can you make a video of how to take off the license plate lights?
I will definitely look into it!
Thank you for this video.
So if you buy a base model which doesn't come with fogs, they still have the fog light wiring?
Yes sir!
@@Ameister95 10/10 that's sickkkkk
How did you install the turn signal switch?
Sorry for the late reply but I have another video on doing that on my channel!
What exhaust you running?
Its the Tomei Ti-c Expreme, hard to beat the sound in my opinion
I liked your vid. We're can I get a set of those lights for my STI?

Thank you ! I'm not, actually from across the country, I'm close to Seattle.
Its not 08-14, its 11-14. the old 08-10 bumper is different
Could I get some part numbers? Please and thank you!

To my knowledge, yes, but I wouldn't quote me...
From my understanding they are.
Lol I’m doing this myself too and I have the exact same jack and jack stands hahaha

It is a Tomei Expreme Ti-c, I love it!
