what that rampage and anderson didnt go from Pride directly to the ufc? bro stop going over a technicality. Rampage became the star he is BECAUSE OF PRIDE. Anderson became a legend in the UFC yeah, but he wasnt built up by the ufc, he came into the ufc as a complete fighter because of organisations like pride, shooto. Back to rampage, but he basically moved from pride to the ufc, he just stopped off at wfa for 1 fight, but if u want to be factual on a technicality go for it !
it wasnt accurate mate, rampage was a massive pride star, yeah he didnt go straight from pride into the ufc, he had one fight with WFA i think. But pride built him up, and in the case of anderson he started out in japan and beat at the time one of the 2 top welterweights in the world in hayato sakurai, the other at the time was hughes who was in the ufc. Prides gone yeah, but ure anderson and rampage comment was silly. and u duno if jones would have been in the ufc.

I don't understand how people can call UFC a top MMA organisation, MMA is a sport, UFC has become a business of it's own, promoting people like Sonnen and Dana putting himself ahead of the fighters.. I mean let's face it, getting a shot at a belt because of trash talk is getting stupid, not to mention all the vaseline and crap, the discrediting of people like Fedor, CC, Wandy and so on just makes me sad to see that MMA is being represented by idiots currently and people buy into it.
UFC competiton was absolutely non-existant before Pride got shut down, and it would remain that way. Without the Pride fighters like Shogun, Rampage, Wanderlei, Anderson Silva and so on UFC would never get the publicity that they have now, and I even gurantee that none of the UFC big names would be in there, they'd be in Pride. You really think great fighters like JDS, Cain, Silva, GSP, Machida, Jon Jones would be in UFC? Hell no, they'd go to Pride, it was top level MMA
i dont see why dream cant be the pride of today.. the original masterminds are all still seem to be there.. just pay the fighters a little more and steal them away from the ufc
