I see on your page that you have a section called, "About." Is that just a collection of "Spaces" that you created, or is that something else?
Good eye! The ABOUT label that can be seen in the navigation bar in this video is a Collection name. I recently changed that collection name to "NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE" You can see and explore it here in my free network: www.clcneighborhood.com/
Does either Vimeo or UA-cam accurately capture the total number of views of an embed on MN?
Good question. I haven't tested to verify. As I understand it, viewing an embedded UA-cam video in a network does count as a view on UA-cam. I can see views of unlisted Vimeo videos that are embedded in my network in Vimeo analytics, so it looks like those views are being tracked.
Why can't we choose a certain frame or upload a custom thumbnail for the videos we post in the network?
A custom thumbnail can be added to videos that are uploaded in a network. After the file uploads, looks for a + near the upper right corner.
You can also set a custom thumbnail when embedding, in the embedding dialog.
Does Vimeo also have the end screen with suggested videos like UA-cam has?
No. That's why I use Vimeo for things like paid courses and non public video.
