There's a spot in Toronto literally 5 minutes walk from my grandma's house people have dug some old stuff, silver coins, silver rings and such, I've only found 2 old things there myself though, best quality london 1800s button, and a 1937 three pence, it used to be a golf course like late 1800s early 1900s, there's some aerials of the place in like the early 1900s you can see where the holes are, but I mostly dig 70s-90s coins there
I have found many IHP's throughout the yeas and many live dig old coins. However in over 30 years of detecting, I have never found a US large cent, They are super rare in the PNW. I have found several Canadian large cents.
That Indian head was rad! I just got the MI4 and I put it into pitch mode with no led and vibrate for battery efficiancy. What sensitivity level do you run your XP MI4/6 on?

Find Indians all the time here in Central Va. Also lots of the old big pennies
Lucky dog. Where I live 1850 is as old as it gets. I have never sniffed a large cent but I do get a few indians.

There is massive development all around my area and they are taking a lot of old sites. A couple of my super secret sites are now gone. It sucks.
That sucks!! Here where I live so many old spots are now developed areas with homes or apartment complexes. It is mostly gone here too.
