Farewell to the Hoppers - after movie

Farewell to the hoppers - Jäähyväiset suppiloille event took place in Meri-Toppila Silo on 24th September. Organised by Factum Foundation, the event celebrated the iconic pulp mill's transformation towards its new future as a cultural center. ‘FAREWELL TO THE HOPPERS’ event was free for the public with with local DJs and audiovisual artists on the grounds surrounding the Silo, giving performances in a unique environment. The main show, offered by Finnish percussion group Transistori performed inside the iconic building and the audience was able to experience Transistori’s performance through a LED screen installed outside the Silo.
