I just rewatched the series, was feening for some GOT after that phenomenal freshmen season of HOTD. Currently reading the books as well. Anyways that scene with Robb and Greywind is described in the book and I forgot they show it in the show. It’s fucking traumatic honestly, one of the gnarliest shots in the show. It helps explain why Arya becomes such a one note character towards the latter half of the series ( still think they botched it though ).
@@KarlMarxhaswifi they botched it because her arc wasn't complete in the books so they went with the tipical Hollywood strong woman approach that's why she lost a lot of depth and character.
Iwan Rheon (Ramsay) and Alfie Owen-Allen (Theon/Reek) were best friends during the making of the show. They both were very "exhausted" after shooting these scenes according to interviews.

Yep, Joffrey certainly still believes that Robert is his father. And he’s not entirely wrong, Tywin basically sat out the whole war until Robert had essentially won.

@@joshuasutton355 As a matter of fact, I did watch Histories and Lore recently, and Tywin didn’t join the fray until Robert had already defeated Prince Rhaegar at the Trident. A smart move on Tywin’s part, but that doesn’t change the fact that Robert, Ned, and Jon did most of the work.
I disagree on one point, I think Joffrey knows who is real father is bc of the rumors at the beginning & he heard them & started treating his mother much diff after he heard the rumors so I think he def believes it
This episode really starts like "remember last episode you were truamatized and took time before watching this episode, yeah we're gonna start on that"

The algorithm decided to recommend your 3x9 episode reaction to me a few days ago. It didn't disappoint. I decided to give your 1x1 and 1x2 reactions a go and really fell in love with your personnalities (even in the dark in the first half of 1x1!). I have binge watched all the episodes since then.
I really like how you wear your heart and your sleeve and seem to keep everything in (predictions going in all directions, etc). It makes for a very entertaining watch. The most important aspect is that you watch the show intently. You try to not only watch things happen but also understand why and how they are happening. Some people might not enjoy the pauses but I love it. The songs and dances are just the cherry on top. Keep being you, I'll keep watching!

When i got to the Red Wedding chapter in the book, i yelled at it the whole time and then threw it on the floor. Lmfao. I woke my dad up. Hadn't done that since Harry Potter. 🤣
afterwards, i picked it back up and read it again, and realized what a beautiful writer GRRM really is. It's totally gut-wrenching, but the way he paints a scene is breathtaking. Seriously. We're in Cat's POV during that chapter, and there's a huge mental/emotional component in the way he structures metaphors and perceptions.
Again, the books have an ace in the hole that the series never adapted. It's so. Absolutely. Badass. We have no idea where it will go, what kind of arc it will cause, etc. It'll stoke a fire in your heart, and while it won't make up for what happened to the Starks, it's definitely leading to a major payoff even the books haven't shown us yet.
Idc if that's considered a minor spoiler. Anything to spark interest and poke the plot-hungry bear for more. 🤣❤ and also, mostly, to stem the ache of such character loss. 😭
The beginning of this episode is so hard to watch, Ayra seeing her brother like that and i absolutely love the hounds story arc getting her out of there!! Also Ser Davos is a real one freeing Gendry he's one of my favourite characters!!
When i saw the reaction come up, i got so excited. I literally love you guys. Being unapologetically vulnerable to cry and just feel emotions...is super attractive. 7:04 , Jamie didn't kill Prince RHAEGAR , ROBERT "Demon of the Trident" BARATHEON 😈 did. Joffrey was referring to ROBERT as his dad.
You may need rewatched or something.these sorts of details are not easily missed and are rather important just really enjoy your reactions and dont want you to miss out on all the awesome content this show provides.every piece of dialogue is important there really is nothing like this show.
There are many moments that you can debate are the most disturbing in this show, but seeing Robb’s body sewed to his wolf’s head still gets me to this day. I went to bed multiple nights with that image stuck in my head. I can’t imagine how Arya feels.
The look Sansa had on her face, I feel mirrored her mother’s look in her very last moment. Just the numbness taking over her body, thinking her family is forever lost. It’s hard to say, but something tells me that Robb was Sansa’s favorite when they were growing up. It just twists the knife deeper :(
Tywin has such a fragile ego when you think about it. He literally is so affected by the fact his son is short, it’s quite ridiculous.
Arya killing those Frey men makes me so upset because that’s the only way she knows how to mourn at this point. Definitely didn’t mind seeing them die though.
That Jon and Ygritte scene fucks me up. I’m just emotionally damaged at this point.

Honestly reading one sentence from Tyrion’s chapter about what they did to Robb’s body was more traumatizing than the whole red wedding chapter.
When I read that scene (the entire Red Wedding scene) in the book, I threw the book across the room so hard that I put a dent in my wall... Then I took a minute, ran to pick it up, and kept reading.
Now I've reread the entire series at least 9 times. Because I'm a masochist apparently.

I know you're upset that you cried for the Lannisters BUT its because you're empathetic and can understand what that moment means to them. Also seeing humanity in Cersei is so few and far between, that when we get even just a hint from her it's very impactful. I cried for Jamie in that moment thinking about what he's gone through, even though he kind of deserves it.

While we would love things in the #GoT life to go a certain way, we also know life shifts course at any time and can be brutal in most. And in this life you’re experiencing, it is a game of power. It is a game of life or death. Cersei has always known that and she spoke it to Ned in S1. Tyrion certainly knows the game and he’s good at it and stated so as well.
Strap in and stay the course. This game is rough and rewarding. And it’s not over.

It's a great scene between Tywin and maester Pycell where Pycell gives a great explanation of why he acts old and infirm. It's a shame they cut it out as it is a great bit of dialogue

Hate the wolf head thing.
It was a rumor among the ranks and the people in the book. We never got direct confirmation, but he did show us what happened to Cat's body, and that had also been just hear-say. So, in the end, it was indirectly implied that what happened to Rob wasn't a rumor.
That's how GRRM gives us 90% of everything in the books. Every info dump is small, sus and vague. The sus, vague sprinkles lead to more and more sprinkles and breadcrumbs, and very few definitive loafs or cakes of actual truths. Lol. A lot of it is inner monologue or dialogue-based stuff.
You 2 gotta be strong! Only thing i will say is Just Desserts ARE COMING! I love GoT & Have seen it 6 times through and read all of the books and the other separate ones; it was really tough for me 'the red wedding," but i didn't give up. Araya rocks and her storyline to me is the hardest and toughest who goes through stuff.
It will only get better cas as good as season 3 was, I believe season 4 is the best
Believe what you want about the red woman, but she believes what she does is the right thing to do. No trickery or fuckery.
When you think about it, if Tywin had just treated Tyrion properly, nobody would have ever laughed at Tyrion. They'd have been too scared to. You'd think Tywin would know better. He could have just not been an asshole to Tyrion, and raised him normally, tyrion only brought him shame, because people saw how Tywin treated him, and knew it was okay to do the same. Tywin doesn't give a shit that Tyrion isn't a warrior. Tywin himself didn't get where he was by personally kicking ass; he got other people to do that.
So Tyrion was right. Tywin let his personal feelings get in the way of what was best for House Lannister. Tyrion's intelligence must have been apparent when Tyrion was still a child. His drinking and whoring were all a result of Tywin's mistreatment. I don't think Tywin ever learned the art of manipulation. He was more about buying people off, and using crude force and intimidation.

The Theon scene never makes sense to me, like if he decides to keep high and proud and keep saying his name is Theon like he's known what he's been through he knows all the torture, like obviously Ramsey is gonna be mad, and then after like 2 smacks he breaks. Like bruh either just play along from the start or be all proud, not just break after 2 smacks.
