Y'all have the wrong idea about Margery: she's not a sociopath, she's not evil, she's just playing the game of thrones, playing to win. And she's MASTERFUL. Last episode, She and her grandmother ask Sansa about Joffrey's true nature NOT because they want to rat her out, but because they want to know how to manipulate Joffrey. So Margery finds out he's a monster, then she puts on her "monster face" when she interacts with him to earn his trust (the crossbow scene), in order to manipulate him. This episode, she listens to his gleeful sociopathic description of what happened in the past, then channels him into "showing his love to the common people." She's power-hungry, sure, but she's also manipulating Joffrey in positive directions. And then she's super kind and friendly with Sansa: "would you like to get out of here, and marry this handsome guy (you're crushing on), Loras?" Again it's manipulative, and securing power for her house, but it's taking Sansa's best interests into consideration as well. I think y'all made up your mind super early that Margery and Olenna (the grandmother) were evil schemers, but I emphatically disagree!

The other is to secure the North for House Tyrell; it would easily make them the most powerful House in Westeros. The Brotherhood Without Banners, who Arya's with, are *not* affiliated or connected to Stannis. Their leader, with the eyepatch, is Ser Baric Dondarrion. You probably don't remember him from season one; most people don't. He is the knight in season one when Robert went out boar hunting, and Ned was sitting on the throne. They were discussing The Mountain plundering, pillaging, and murdering his way through the Riverlands. Ned chose Ser Baric to assemble a hundred men, which included Thoros of Myr, the red priest who is with him, and hunt down The Mountain. But Ser Baric was recast, and his character has been a world of shit since then. Thoros of Myr, however, *is* of the same religion as Melisandre. But that's the only connection to Stannis.
It says a lot that they think good sex=big dck🤦🏻♀️ a huge d is rarely pleasurable for most women so i really don’t understand why men think women only like them, when in reality it’s just painful.
@29:37 - Possibly the first ever recorded instance of Red/Black colourblindness. And given that the original agreement specified "the black one" it apparently also includes an element of deafness...
Love how much you two are getting into this show. I'm glad you decided to take this journey with us! You keep doing you...enjoy the hell out of your dancing and crazy antics :)
12:08 y'all are so slow... is it not obvious that Margaery is telling Joffrey what he likes to hear so that he likes her...? she's playing the GAME OF THRONES.. and she's spectacular at it
So the people who have Arya right now.... they have no association with Stannis. They are a group called the Brotherhood without Banners and they don't owe loyalty to any house. You're correct they serve the same God as the Red Woman, but they do have honorable intentions. Some of their methods may come off harsh in this world but they do have an end goal in mind which will become clearer as the show progresses. Also-- the Tyrells just made a double play.... by marrying Sansa to Loras, they now have the key to the North instead of Littlefinger and they get Sansa out of a sticky situation. So while they are helping themselves, they are also trying to protect Sansa by getting her out of King's Landing.
You two being taken with Marjorie and grandmother, believing she’s genuine with Joffrey, and not following their moves show how believable that plot is 😅
This!!! Everyone in the comments so angry typing comments like come on! Let them find out on their own for fuck sake!!😂 Telling them how to feel doesn't let them organically discover the show. And yes I know this comment is a year old and the series has been reacted to already but it just pisses me off. They watch for reactions but when they get the reaction that doesn't match how they feel they then the need to shout about it like as if the reactors are wrong. Someone in the comments even said "they aren't really intelligent". How fucking rude and obnoxious. Let them come to their own conclusions over the course of the show. EDIT: I just seen where red head guy (Aaron?) doesn't know if he should trust her. That's the fun!! We all felt the same we weren't sure if it was genuine or lies because its unclear. Let them explore the themes and Tyrells on their own accord.
You might have already caught this from rewatches for editing and then when you see this episode it clicks in your memory, but you both talked about how great it was that Dany knew everything he was saying, if you go back and rewatch the last couple episodes with her talking to him, nearly every time he says something foul about her they actually show her face in reaction and you can tell she's understanding him but just choosing to compose herself. When you're first watching it it either slips past you or you just assume she's reading his tone of voice or maybe she's just putting on a serious face, but I always enjoy when I'm rewatching seeing Dany glare at him from the corner like "no you know what, call me a wh*re one more time". It's so satisfying. Truly cathartic. Really well shot, in my opinion anyway. Nobody ever noticed the shots of her reactions when they first see it, but when you rewatch it you can't miss it. Just subtle enough to get it's job done and not be too obvious, yet fully present enough that in rewatches it's just *chef kiss*
Man you guys kill it every time, perfect reaction videos. Sometimes other channels have pretty whacky edits but yours are great Aaron those pants were dope
I appreciate this comment greatly!!! I put alot of effort into each and every edit (which is why it takes us so long to post sometimes)... but I always figured, quality over quantity!!
How dare you slander Margaery?? She's handling being married out to Joffrey as gracefully as anyone else could. Yeah she's fucking sharp as a pin and knows exactly what she's doing, she's an experienced player indeed. She's such a smooth operator. I love her, though I can't say that's not biased by fancying the arse off her lol!!
No, you guys are so wrong about Mormont. He was great commander, mentor and true father figure for Jon at the wall (He gave him Longclaw and was teaching him and preparing him to one day take command). And no matter how horrible man Craster was, the men of the night watch broke the guest right, the sacred hospitality rule in Westeros, and killed someone who offered them food and place under their roof. But I can understand. But I can also understand, the show goes through the events very quickly. If you've never read the book you really need to watch carefully and pay attention otherwise it's easy to misinterpret a character or a scene.
It was really nice seeing you guys trying to have faith in Dany knowing she'd never get rid of her dragons and waiting to see what the play was...and then to be rewarded by her epic scene showing she had a plan and knew exactly what she was doing. Great moment! This show often punishes you for liking certain characters or trusting in them, so it's nice whenever the show actually gives you the victory you hope for. lol. Especially since the beginning of the episode kept showing favorite characters in dangerous situations.
Jeeze I’ve never seen two people be so wrong about Margaery and the Tyrells 😂 Margaery is just as manipulative as Cersei, yes, but she and the other Tyrells are actually genuinely good people. She is with Joffrey because 1: she wants to be queen, and 2: she is a highborn girl whose entire purpose is to be married to a highborn boy, just like Sansa, Cersei, etc… Margaery is just playing the game, and she’s damn good at it.
I don’t get why people are so upset when you dislike certain characters. The beauty of watching a series for the first time is to make your own assumptions about characters and find out whether you were right in them.
Agreed. Let the first time watching take you where it will. It can be hard to remember your first impressions after completing the show and having some distance. They also did not read the books.
So it's never confirmed, but my personal theory is that the prostitutes work for baelish, they sleep with pod for free, and they get to hear about what's going on with tyrion while his guard is down.
14:00 it absolutely breaks my heart when he says that his real father lost his head in King's Landing I did not see that part the first couple of times I watched this series
Fuck Mormont?? You lost a little respect here :( Always very quick to judge. And why do you hate Margery? Yes, she's powerhungry but she plays Joffrey like a fiddle. And the plot to marry Sansa to Loras is the solution Olenna and Varys talked about minutes before (so Littlefinger doesn't get his slimy hands on her).
I love Margery so much because she’s smart and she IS manipulative and she DOES want power… but she doesn’t want to trample all over innocents to get there. I never saw her as evil - she wants to get her way in as positive a way as she can, and she’s usually smart enough to do so 🙌
Margeary IS playing, but she’s playing Joffrey. She’s playing him for a fool. And at least under her rule the people don’t suffer, regardless whether her intention is sincere or not. She’s just smart at playing the game.
The Brotherhood aren’t with Stannis, they explained in a previous episode that they fight for the people of the land and don’t serve anyone (except the Lord of Light as revealed in this episode)
I like how these guys have different opinions to most reactors. Liking Mormont dying, distrusting the tyrells, trusting littlefinger Nice to have some variety
Pod is related to Cersei’s executioner. But he’s not mean or cruel. I think he probably just pleases the women first. Which nobody is going to do for prostitutes. He is very honorable and kind.
Well I did mention in the last episode for HOTD viewers not to watch and come back to this episode at a later date It's not Mike or Aaron's fault And to be honest when we all watch this Episode back in the day as it was airing we wouldn't think much of it
Well now Joffrey spoiled The House of the Dragon for you with the ending of Rhaenyra Targaryen. And you guys are missing the point of Margeary. She is playing the game and she is doing it masterfully. Stupid is NOT what you would call Margeary. Also why is she evil for being with Joffrey?? She said her goal was to be THE QUEEN. He is the king, what else is she supposed to do?? She is manipulating him. Can’t y’all see that? She is just telling him what he wants to hear. That’s why they asked Sansa about him. So they know what angle to approach him with.
28:41 , OMG guys they're the "BROTHERHOOD WITHOUT BANNERS" , it's in the name that they don't follow anyone , Only LORD OF LIGHT. Idk if you guys noticed but a neet detail was in this episode , in the previous episode masande ( the girl who's with dany ) was wearing revealing clothing when serving the master but under dany she's fairly covered up .
I'm not understanding your hatred for jeor mormont..... This is the only place beyond the wall that they could stop and get any kind of help... and there are specific reason why craster has survived beyond the wall...
Imagine from the perspective of the ladies at the brothel. They are used to gross men daily. Then here comes Pod who is actually a really nice dude. They probably didn't have to act like they liked him.
Right? Also knowing it will get back to Tyrion and Baelish. It probably felt like a fun way to get in their heads for a change. A way to have a modicum of power in their situation at no real cost to them.
You guys are killing me! I like your reactions, but you’re TOTALLY WRONG ABOUT MARJORIE!! Remember what Cersei said, When you play the game of thrones you win or you die. She is playing to win!! That’s all this is to her!! She doesn’t love Joffrey!! She’s placating him!! As for Mormont, he did NOT deserve to die like that!! He should’ve done something about Crastor, but he shouldn’t have been stabbed in the back by those cowards!
As we lead into season 4 I've come do understand, like, and fear Marjorie way more. Still, im unsure where her morality truely lies, and worried about what lengths she'll go to in order to secure her power
I feel they are missing the point of Margaery and Tyrells. A noble house needs to show and be powerfull. Otherwise another house will try to swift and take over. Sadly a part of the story was remove, specially why Tyrells joing Renly... but anyway ... The tyrells side with Renly which was considered traitor, so the tyrells were also considered traitors. After renly died, the tyrells need to be in good side with Lannisters and Joffrey. So thats why they help! in exchange Margaery would marry Joffrey. Not only this would clean tyrells name, but also would clean Margaery. Margaery knows that Joffrey is a psychopath, so she needs to please him. She also needs to make him feel interested in her... otherwise the marriage could not happen. Is Margaery like him? We do not know... till now nothing was show to us, that Margaery is anything close like him. We all saw, that she is ambitious and knows how to manipulate. But that doesnt mean she is a bad person... so, im not sure why they are calling her sociopath! Every house is playing a game, and everyone is a player or a pawn. Even Ned was playing a game, which sadly we was not a good player! Margaery is playing a game... and till now she is a far superior player then Ned or even Cersei! House tyrell is playing a game for the throne! and they are playing one of the most dangerous games! Webbing the lions around their thorns!
Well said. Some respect for people who did not read the books and are genuinely watching for the first time. It's easy to forget what first impressions many characters made later. How confusing it was and how with everybody being shades of gray, it was hard to know who and what to root for. They changed their take on Khal Drogo/Manoa.

Yeah, seems to go over their heads that good sex for women doesn't equal with "long schlong" 😂 Guess there's something to learn for them.
12:08 y'all are so slow... is it not obvious that Margaery is telling Joffrey what he likes to hear so that he likes her...? she's playing the GAME OF THRONES.. and she's spectacular at it
Yea they are clueless. Its like they have never watched this show b4 😂😂
Love your serenade at the end of the video. Exactly what I needed on a Monday to cheer me up!!
‘I know what’s gonna happen. It’s gonna be a balloon or some shit!’
I’m dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Never change guys. You’re hilarious 🤣
Just gotta say I love the jam session to close out the reactions!!!!
Marjery is just playing the game
If the music stops, we riot
I'm not gonna like demand a song every episode or anything crazy like that but if it stops we riot
If there is something Margaery isn't that is stupid. Neither I believe she is a phycho. She is good at manipulation plain and simple.
Fr
@@Wolfe-Tone-hard truths cut both ways wolfetone
🤣 Love how you guys keep calling Craster Cranston.
That final scene is the most badass thing you will ever see from Dany.
what? there's waaay more to come
I just gotta pause my binge-a-thon of your channel to say - I freakin love you guys 🥰
We love you!! Thanks for watching with us!!
a dragon is not a slave , she delivered that line like a boss
It was to give Theon a glimpse of freedom only to smother his hope in the end
Just subtle enough to get it's job done and not be too obvious, yet fully present enough that in rewatches it's just *chef kiss*
wtf why was my man celebrating Jeor Mormont getting stabbed????
That exhale at 31:15 was literally everyone's reaction. Absolutely positively satisfying.
Man you guys kill it every time, perfect reaction videos. Sometimes other channels have pretty whacky edits but yours are great
Aaron those pants were dope
I appreciate this comment greatly!!! I put alot of effort into each and every edit (which is why it takes us so long to post sometimes)... but I always figured, quality over quantity!!
Seriously?
Jeeze I’ve never seen two people be so wrong about Margaery and the Tyrells 😂
Margaery is just as manipulative as Cersei, yes, but she and the other Tyrells are actually genuinely good people. She is with Joffrey because 1: she wants to be queen, and 2: she is a highborn girl whose entire purpose is to be married to a highborn boy, just like Sansa, Cersei, etc… Margaery is just playing the game, and she’s damn good at it.
i cant believe you dont understand, this is actually hilarious.
Don't forget what Baelish told Ned Stark -- "I told you not to trust me."
His singing 🥺😍
9:48 lol...Joffrey showing his true villainy by being a spoiler demon😂
Damn it, that ruined my evening, nearly spit my food on the screen.....
I don’t get why people are so upset when you dislike certain characters. The beauty of watching a series for the first time is to make your own assumptions about characters and find out whether you were right in them.
Because thats the end of Mormont and they cheered it and they were completely wrong too lol
Agreed.
Let the first time watching take you where it will.
It can be hard to remember your first impressions after completing the show and having some distance.
They also did not read the books.
@theConquerersMama you don't need to have read the books to not be completely clueless
This is one of my favorite episodes of the series!! You guys are awesome can't wait for what is to come!
Joffrey w the spoiler
Yeahh give us another reason to hate him even more
Fun Fact...the crazy guy (Iwan Rheor) i.e. Misfits.... was the runner up to play Jon Snow. Imagine that 😳
Yet another great reaction! What a ride guys, thank you
So it's never confirmed, but my personal theory is that the prostitutes work for baelish, they sleep with pod for free, and they get to hear about what's going on with tyrion while his guard is down.
10:50 Oh, we do love Margaery.
The Brotherhood doesn't have any ties to Stannis, they just worship the same God.
I love the singing guys 👌🏽👌🏽. Beautiful
14:00 it absolutely breaks my heart when he says that his real father lost his head in King's Landing I did not see that part the first couple of times I watched this series
Just so ya'll know, he goes by "Pod the Rod" in the goT community.
I loved the Jaime song
Yalls songs are hella fire lol good shit!
The Brotherhood aren’t with Stannis, they explained in a previous episode that they fight for the people of the land and don’t serve anyone (except the Lord of Light as revealed in this episode)
They were sentby Ned Stark to catch the "Mountain" .....
@@annikamyren3026 It wasn’t the brotherhood then, not yet. Would be a spoiler for them to say more
Lmao did he try to rainman the Unsullied count?
Lmaooo!!! I think that was an accurate guess!!
@Bust! Reacts maybe. If I remember correctly I think she got 8,000 fully trained unsullied from that "trade", in total.
I like how these guys have different opinions to most reactors. Liking Mormont dying, distrusting the tyrells, trusting littlefinger
Nice to have some variety
Yea, but some of the opinions are mind baffling
Nice song at the end Mike! There is one song I will eventually dare you to play. You might actually hear it thru this season.
Aaron's Margery BS detector was on overload... can't a girl get the benefit of the doubt? LOL!!
Pod is related to Cersei’s executioner. But he’s not mean or cruel. I think he probably just pleases the women first. Which nobody is going to do for prostitutes. He is very honorable and kind.
Nobody going to point out that Joffrey spoiled HOD in this episode? 😅
Well I did mention in the last episode for HOTD viewers not to watch and come back to this episode at a later date It's not Mike or Aaron's fault And to be honest when we all watch this Episode back in the day as it was airing we wouldn't think much of it
@@joshuasutton355 Don’t read the books either because the whole HOTD comes from the Books.
@@mr.noride7226 😯😯 OMG Really ??🙄🙄
Well now Joffrey spoiled The House of the Dragon for you with the ending of Rhaenyra Targaryen. And you guys are missing the point of Margeary. She is playing the game and she is doing it masterfully. Stupid is NOT what you would call Margeary. Also why is she evil for being with Joffrey?? She said her goal was to be THE QUEEN. He is the king, what else is she supposed to do?? She is manipulating him. Can’t y’all see that? She is just telling him what he wants to hear. That’s why they asked Sansa about him. So they know what angle to approach him with.
During the cave scene he said he was reborn under the one true GOD (meaning the lord of light) not KING. These people don't fight for Stannis.
Love the music!!!!!!
28:41 , OMG guys they're the "BROTHERHOOD WITHOUT BANNERS" , it's in the name that they don't follow anyone , Only LORD OF LIGHT. STANNIS Became a Follower of the Religion of LORD OF LIGHT , The one that MELISSANDRA preaches. There are many who follow it. STANNIS didn't invent that shit. So, not everyone who follows lord of light is STANNIS people.
Breathe bro :) Let Mike and Arron come to their own thoughts they will learn in time as we all did Also I had to remove your other comment since you said a name of a dragon Well before its time So please be careful what you comment on
@@joshuasutton355 I'm not angry at them man 😅, I should've added emojis after OMG.
I'm usually very careful while commenting , whenever I do. I don't remember which comment. Anyway , Apologies.
Mike dancing got me hype for this episode
I suspect Pod the Rod was the first person to treat the ladies of the brothel kindly and gently. I mean yeah he’s probably packing but he’s mostly nice. 😅
You guys are a couple dorks...now I have to watch every one of your reactions.
Hiya from Australia boyo's love your work.
Thanks so much!!
Anytime you guys in Australia, you have a home, love you
25:14 they didn't have many supplies and they were trying to ration, what was he supposed to do? (And he was trying to protect his men, he did several times) he definitly didn't deserve death since he was such a good and an honorable leader
lol dang, hadn't seen people dislike Jeor Mormon before XD. Like arguably IDK if I've seen people love him either, but for most people he's alright, more on the good side either ways.
I've binged your reactions today upto this point not subbed yet or commented bad of me but that song you was singing got me laughing had to sub
Do u two have ur subtitles on?? You should. It helps out A WHOLE LOT…. you can see what Danny was saying.
Yeah we do!! It's just for the UA-cam edit the mp4 I use doesn't have it
@@bustreacts ohhhhh got it. Ok!!! Love y’all!!! ❤️❤️❤️😘😘
@@kristymcdowell6185 we love you!!
She doesn't have the Dothraki though. They left her after Drogo died, remember? She got a few of them though
Why cheer Mormont's death though?
The song at the end is crazy fr
14:51 father can be pricks but, good bad or indifferent they are still our fathers
Pod just has a way with love. A sort of magic you might say.
I love this episode! Going to Patreon to catch up ✌️
See ya there!
