  • Chris De La Rosa shares a quick and tasty recipe for preparing asparagus. With a lovely garlic base, a touch of sea salt and a slight zing from pepper flakes, these asparagus are cooked to perfection in good olive oil and topped with feta cheese. You can also use Parmesan cheese if you're looking for a sort of nutty finish to the pan roasted asparagus.

    • @huyenisback
      @huyenisback 7 років тому +6

      DKJ depending on the quality of your pan, you could scrape off some of the metal from the Tongs or pan into your foods. It's not recommended because after a while it can cause cancer or sickness. No one really likes the noise anyways.

  • @fastwilly2001

    That garlic is mad bitter! Over cooked!!! Add the garlic with a little butter (pre cooked separately)last two minutes of the cook time. Just saying from my own experience.

    • @ironik86

      +fastwilly2001 wel all like things cooked certain ways, I like my asparagus soft, maybe you dont, but I still love it all the same. Just like I like my steaks medium rare...maybe you like them medium well. I like my vegetables well done and my meat rare, everyone has a preference.

    • @fastwilly2001

      +fastwilly2001 im not talking about garlic (which i like) im talking about asparagus

    • @fastwilly2001
      @fastwilly2001 8 років тому +3

      +ironik86 I like soft asparagus, I like garlic, i'm just saying garlic gets bitter when you over cook it. So if you put it on a frying pan (first thing )it's going to get bitter before the asparagus gets soft.... Now check out "battle shits" lol
