Before you do all or any purchases……open the door to gas filling port (where you put gas in) If you have gas cap, take off, inspect gasket for tears or cracks or dirt, check the fill port face for damage/dents. 2021 Honda pilots don’t have gas caps. Open door to fill port. Look on inside of door for dirt. Look at fill port face and inspect for cracks or damage. Close the door, be sure it’s closed all the way. We got the awd system issue AND the emissions system issue warnings. AutoZone did the ODB-II code check. Stated primary issue is evac control valve, secondary is the carbon filter valve. Open the gas filling door and closed. No alerts on dash. ODB2 again and primary not present. Secondaries stayed and only after driving for 50-60 will the computer kick those out if issue doesn’t reoccur. Only thing I can thing is the door didn’t seat all the way even though closed plus an extremely hot day in sun!!!! Saved us so much time and money, should have a message to check gas cap or door before a solid error code!!!

I have 2016 Honda Civic 1.5T. Mine just showed P04F1 & P0441. Will changing the Canister Purge Valve fix it? I also decided to go stock since there was a proble installing a oil catch can. Vehicle was rough idle and slow response but not it’s stock it’s a lot better. Also there was an oil leak from the hose connecting to the oil Catch can.
@@john_i39Bruv your a life saver. I’ve been getting these same exact two codes and was looking for this kind of response. Civic nation and safe travels mate

Did changing the purge valve fix it? I am reading p0441 and p04F1. New part is coming in the mail, hoping it will do the trick.
@@cable5910 hey there, I bought a NEW purge valve and yes it did fix. I no longer used the oil catch can as well. Everything is okay now.
