We have a mixture of colors around our shop. Mostly 4100K, and 6500K. We are now switching to 5000K, and I immediately noticed that it more closely matches light coming in from outdoors at noon. The 6500K look more bluish than the outdoor light.

Also, we cary T8 4500's. I'm in an office high rise and we have large retail/mall area on street level and two levels above street. So, it's my guess that our 4500s are used in the retail areas after watching this vid.

The "K" is for Kelvin. It's the color temperature of the bulb..
