Not to be petty, but what I hear is on the second phrase "or don't you be afraid"! The chord on "you" is A-F#-C#. You're playing a E on that chord instead of a F# that Glenn is playing! Nevertheless, it still work, and its not wrong! Not trying to "show you up" or ANYTHING like that! Its not in my heart to do so! Great videos, keep them coming! God bless you!
So Dwayne, you are ABSOLUTELY right! I remember going back and forth over that chord, and when I recorded clearly put the wrong one in. GREAT catch! Function wise they are the same (F# minor vs A major) but that subtle difference in the sound matters too! Thanks for letting me know! I will be more careful!
@@JadaonPiano Hey, regardless the video is great! I wasn't trying to be "right" or anything! Just pointing it out. Both chords work like you said. Its just a little "twang" in the sound that makes it different! (Thats right, twang is a thing LOL) Anyway again, great job keep'm coming, you'll help a lot of people!
@Dwayne Davis I totally understand. But because this is a teaching channel, I have to be able to acknowledge when I got it wrong too. As soon as I went back, I heard exactly what you said, the F#. People coming by should also note that it is the F# in that and to listen for it specifically too. This is also a lesson that improving your ear requires hearing those subtle differences.Thank you for spurring additional conversation on this!
You are literally the first person to ask...let me gather it. I was going to put them on my website, but its not finished yet. Email me at Jadaonpiano@gmail.com!
You can include the B in the chord if you would like to, however, it's important to remember that the chord is an A Major chord in first inversion. Adding a B to the chord would make it an A Maj2. So a possible voicing would be C# A B E.
Congrats Jada ...I love what you do..all the way from Nigeria

You are literally the first person to ask...let me gather it. I was going to put them on my website, but its not finished yet. Email me at Jadaonpiano@gmail.com!
And I am 40, according to my birth certificate anyway! Lol thank you for the compliment!
Is there a 5(B) note in the third chord?
You can include the B in the chord if you would like to, however, it's important to remember that the chord is an A Major chord in first inversion. Adding a B to the chord would make it an A Maj2. So a possible voicing would be C# A B E.
Where's the original video??
Let me see if it's still there
Song By Who Please?🙏
The original song is by Kirk Franklin. It's an old song. The title Is My Life is in Your Hands. This is just Glenn Gibsons arrangement.
@@JadaonPiano Thanks a lot I really appreciate🙏
