I entered this area first when it was thundering. :D What an epic entrance this was.
Same. It was raining and night when I got into the zone initially, and then the weather changed once I was pretty much done with the tutorial and there was a rainbow in the sky and everything.

The transition from the dungeon music to battle music back to dungeon music is *chef's kiss*.
This game doesn't do dynamic music nearly enough, because when it does do it, god DAMN does it do it well.
@@Leafia_Barrett makes sense really. In normal duties you’re going to be in constant combat, and a lot of overworld music was made with limitations, so changing one area to have dynamic music while the others weren’t would be inconsistent.
I would love for them to do it though

Song on the orchestrion list is called Winds on the Plain.
Both themes are fantastic but I love this one much more. There's something about this, maybe its the fatigue from Eureka's wearing on me, but I much prefer this one.
The part around 1:53 is what gives me chills.
Personally I still prefer Eureka's, even after multiple eureka weapons and a lot of BA runs.
I didn't like Eurekas much at all tbh. I like this one a lot though

The part that you're talking about reminds me a LOT of one of the songs from Final Fantasy Tactics. It's very very good.

As soon as I heard those Piano keys in the beginning I got chills. I LOVE this version of Gangos, I've been waiting since the 5.3 trailer.
Just listen to the fucking emotional shifts in this one song.
First you get that haunting piano, then the music slowly builds with the harp, strings and the horns. Finally, the percussion comes in with that familiar leitmotif to remind you that you're entering a nation that, once beaten down by the Empire, finally has the strength to rise up sfter word of Doma and Ala Mhigo's liberation.
For the first time in a generation, Bozja dares to dream of being free. You can hear it all in this song: sad, sinister, bombastic, patriotic, reflective.
Soken is a virtuoso. He's just an absolute master of audible storytelling.
"Winds on the Plain" and "Blood on the Wind" (Battle) -- Damn, this pair of themes hits me almost as hard as "Engage" and "Jewel" did in The Diadem. Great stuff!
I started in late stormblood so I didn't really do Eureka, but I'm absolutely in love with this! Just watching groups of people cheer on others as they fight bosses was such a cool thing to encourage.
Why do I feel like battlefields like this might become a major feature in 6.0?

@@JohnWulfgar Considering the MSQ stuff, it seems very likely. Garlemald is in chaos with Zenos ruling unopposed. He clearly has no cares about empire building just killing strong opponents to sharpen his fangs. With everything going on chances are the Garlemald empire will begin to be ravaged in a brutal civil war between the alliance and those who allied with Shadowhunter (and the WOL/WOD) and Zenos and his allies/followers. I have a very strong feeling we won't get a full set of primals in the next expansion if it is Garlemald but experimental weapons and the like. If it ties to the Rabinastre Ally raid storyline there is gonna be a hell of a fighting force behind Zenos (judging from a particular character you see in that storyline.)
@@Andrew___P people said the same thing before Shadowbringers, so I'm not convinced until we get told we're going to Garlemald.
@@ItachiKai clearly you didn't hear Yoshi P actually say Bozja is directly tied to the next expansion.
Look at it like this if you will:
- The Garlean Empire has been losing a hell of a lot of ground since Stormblood.
- The various weapons are clearly desperate attempts to either deter or crush the oncoming enemy threat of the alliance and the rebel imperials rallying to aid them like Shadowhunter.
- Having lost both Ala Mhigo and Doma were huge loses on the empires part and with Bozja starting to take up arms and the threat of oncoming Civil War looming in Garlemald itself it would be an opportune time for the alliance to strike during the dissension and chaos within the imperial capital. (any wise commander would not miss the opportunity)
- With Doma and Ala Mhigo lost The Empire has lost 2 highly strategic staging points into Othard and Eastern Eorzea. Fairly sure the only other region they have left which would be viable staging grounds for counterattack is Dalmasca, which in the aforementioned unrest would make any invasion plans either put on hold or near impossible to organize until they reestablish some form of order in their ranks. (which is clearly not a priority on Zenos list)
I'm fully aware that you will try to call bullshit on this but the evidence is clear as fuck.
I love this theme. The big around 0:36 sounds a lot to me like the rising, slightly meandering notes of Susano's theme, which I ALSO loved.
This one has both the rising, inspiring, sweeping motifs, and a kind of "raindrops of starlight" motif that gives it a great flow between a big, epic battle feel on the one hand and a quiet, mysterious feel during other parts.
Love it love it love it!
Soken really set the tone with this piece. Final Fantasy XIV may have the best soundtrack in the whole series. It’s really incredible.
Why does the overall vibe of the Bozjan Liberation War give me WW2 Poland VS Germany vibes? I mean, hell, the technological differences are even similar (Poland tried to use mounted cavalry with lances and other more medieval tech against Germany's fully kitted out artillery - which included tanks, howitzers, and rifle-bearing infantry).
Are we going to end up having a reversal of those events?
P.S. This song is pure bliss - it sounds extremely final dungeon-ish.
Well, in general the Hrothgar have Slavic names lore-wise, and a lot of Bozjan words are at least inspired by slavic languages. Bozja, or more properly božja or its variant božija, itself is a word in serveral South Slavic (who also often found themselves on the receiving end of German imperialism in history) languages that means something akin to the English "god's" or "divine". So, I imagine the writers were at least influenced by Eastern European struggles against larger imperial powers.

0:24 is a clear reference to the main theme of FFVII and I can't for the life of me figure out *why*. There's another bit that sounds like it might be Those Who Fight as well.
I would guess it's because Bozja is where the Meteor Project was developed.

When I first heard this song, at 0:24 I thought the song was gonna turn into the FF7 leitmotif. It didn’t, but I love the song still anyway. My favorite among Soken’s music are the rock bangers, but his orchestral compositions are amazing too, so I know if he makes music for FF16 I have nothing to worry about.

Not the normal version at the moment. Just the Bozjan Front variations. Field is from lockboxes and Battle (Blood on the Wind) from the quartermaster for 25 clusters

Somehow, I kinda get a bit of a GW2 vibe, not so much the main melody but the strings and winds (?) in the background (forgive me for I lack actual musical lingo ^^"). Either ways, the style is kinda refreshing, and also very inspiring, which I guess was the intended purpose ! I absolutely loathed the concept of Eureka, so I'm surprised at how much I'm liking the Bozjan Front ^^
Not going to be missed. One of the most (if not THE most) miserable gameplay experiences this game had to offer during an otherwisely great expansion.
I actually enjoyed this the most.
It's just a better Eureka (ahem, Diadem 3) to me. Not to mention I liked the plot quite a bit and it gave us the best alliance raids in the game. Well, to me at least.
So basically a heavensward fate grind. Yup i was subbed to this game august of 2013 beta for arr and NOTHING has changed on these patches cycles savage 24 man dungeon eureka relic. Finish savage even patches level jobs and do a deep dungeon off. After 6 or so years of subbing i said enough was enough not supporting something that just wont ever change. Glad i did. Music is still great though. Long live ffxi
Still better than WoW trying to change everything each expansion while failing at it every time
Heavensward fate grind? You're not up to date. Best way to grind relic is gather a party, round up as many bozjan field mobs as possible, slay them all.
HW FATE grind and HW lvl 60 dungeons are only for those that will not bother doing SBJ and CLL but want their Resistance Weapon. The commentary was unnecessary though but you do you. It's your money anyways. Have fun.
@@mark62684583 relic can be finished in 2-3 hours outside of bozja. Inside it takes forever to get a single memory drop from anything other than cluster farm. It's not bad content,but it's terrible for relic grind
@@mark62684583 I mean, it's also your choice and money not to play CLL and SBJ for whatever reason. You're missing out on a way to get that done while farming for relics easily
Honestly... i think this is one of my least favorite music in the game
