    Oh god the soil. That brings back memories. My parents lived in Houston when I was a kid. Mom used to tell a story about the first time grandad (who was a big time gardener) came down to visit.
    As mom told it, the first thing he did was dig up a chunk and make a pot out of it. Bear in mind, grandpa was also a potter.
    Took mom years to improve the beds enough to do the stuff she wanted, and then we moved...

    Not a real spinach eater but my diet needs the goodness greens give. Never though spinach and swiss chard would transplant until I did so last month which is doing very well,

      Try sautéing any of your greens in oil or butter with garlic. It makes them easier to eat! Remember to slice the greens really thing before you cook them.

    How do you germinate the spinach in a refrigerator? I'm having a hard time to get spinach to geminate with a germination chamber set at 65F.

    • @TheLivingFarmPaonia
      @TheLivingFarmPaonia  7 місяців тому +2

      Spinach likes to germinate between 38 and 50 Deg. F. At 65 deg. F it is probably too warm for good germination. Try germinating a lower temperature to see if that helps you.
