- Best way to purchase internet on Royal Caribbean Cruises is to get it for 1 person and 2 devices or 4 devices instead of each person having it for themselves. Also, always purchase internet before the cruise starts as it is less expensive and a better price. The Starlink internet is fast on Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. Older ships have just as fast as internet as newer ships like Icon of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas, and Star of the Seas, or any Oasis Class & Freedom Class ships.

Get a travel router. You can share 1 internet connection with as many devices and people in your cabin

If I purchase 1 package for 4 devices and I keep 1 and give the remaining 3 to other family members can we use our 4 devices independently at the same time throughout the cruise? Would we all have different username/passwords?

Correct. You can keep one for yourself and give the 3 to other family members and all be on at the same time. You will be using the same username / password for all 4 devices by purchasing at as 1 person & 4 devices.

I had no odea I had to do so much so far in advance of our cruise (it's been 7 years since we last cruised. Sailing in less than 4 weeks. Any chance I can find this $10 deal or do Diamond get any benefits that can be gifted?
Diamond members each get 1 free day of internet. When my wife and I cruise with our friends, we will let them use our internet to check-in to flights ect. Rule is only one device can be logged in at a time so between us, we have a total of 48 hours of free internet. If it is a 2 or 3 day cruise, we don’t have to purchase internet.

Okay so let me understand this. Planning to do Icon of the Seas next summer with a friend for our 40th bdays next year. This will be my first cruise. So if I get the package I think we only need it for 3 devices so our phones and I got a ipad. So that means I am paying 16.99 a day I think it is from what I saw so 7 day cruise so 118 for the net. But the devices does it mean 3 at a time or only 3 set in stone. What if I disconnect one and want to lets say connect to my Kindle to buy a book can I do that?

Day for 3 devices. You are correct though if you log off your iPad and then log on your kindle you can download something. Can just have 3 devices in at the same time.
Does the Royal Caribbean app still work for daily activities when not purchasing onboard Wifi?
Yes, just have to connect to ships WiFi. Don’t forget to turn phone on airplane mode though.
I've heard that if you wait a day or two on the cruise the daily internet prices will drop, any truth too that rumor?
I have not known that to be true but if you are strategic on when you purchase the internet, you can get away with only buying a day or two. Once you purchase it, it is active for 24 hrs.

Hello! I’m trying to book on the app and I chose 1 person, 3 devices=$175 but when checking out, it is only wanting to charge me $71 as if it’s just 1 person and it doesn’t give me any details on how many devices. Do you know why?
Without seeing, not sure. I did just do a mock internet on The app and it says 1 first and the # of devices below the “surf and stream” package. I would try to use a “desktop / laptop” computer to see if you get a different result. Typically a little easier for the cruise planner items IMO.

How do you purchase for just 1 day. IT doesn't give me the option to do this
Once you get on the ship you can purchase for one day. It will be active for 24 hours once purchased and at onboard pricing.
Does this work for people who are not related to each other?
Yes, we often let our friends use ours to check into flights who are staying in a different room.
YMMV ..... I leave in 90 days for a 14 day Atlantic cruise ... Right now its 20.99 per day for 1 device ... If I go 1 person 2 device it goes to 40 per day ... for 3 devices it goes to 50 per day ... and for 1 person -- 4 devices for 14 days it is currently 923.00 which is 65 per day (NOT $10) .... /// I will check back closer to the cruise BUT I booked this trip a year ago and the Internet prices have NOT changed ... so definitely NO $10 a day for me ....
Thanks for watching. Every cruise and every sale has different pricing. Yes, check back often. You can always pay for internet now and cancel if it goes down and re-buy at lower price.
