I’ll take grief but “foiling” is a bit of a stretch here. Seems more of a “foil shaped, three point braced hull connector”. Yes, I see and acknowledge some of its benefits, but real foiling gets the hull(s) up out of the water and if 40% of the hull’s weight is on it, then it is creating a substantial amount of drag also. I would love to see speed and efficiency charts of the same boat with and without the foil brace.
Either they did a poor job filming or I must have blinked every time they showed it foiling. The rep. stated it goes 18+ inches "out of the water" but every shot had the hulls dragging along clearly in the water.
Pretty sweet. Would love to see if Sharrow props can make it even more efficient.
There is a New Zealand brand of alloy cat called “Bladerunner” that has been making foil assisted cats for 30 plus years.

21:21 would make a cool Sea Tow and TowBoatUS swinging big props me thinks.
🥰love the boat lay-out,but can you do a FULLY ENCLOSED CABIN?
Hello! Ryan mentions they have an enclosed model, hull #4, coming soon at around 07:40 - hope that helps!
Hysucat has a foil design like this i believe
look-s amazing is that near spring hill ?
Why not "fully foiling"? I'm assuming there is a very good engineering reason no to so...
What's the downside to a fully foiling boat?
Saw this @ FLIBS… like the design - like to see it with the torqui Merc V-10s instead of those slob yami’s…
And maybe a set of Sharrow props….🎉
Remember zego- “if you wanna get there fast chose a Mercury, if you wanna get back all the time, chose a Yamaha.”

I think they meant 18 inches from the water line
Its a boat so speeds and distances in knots is fine, no need for the conversions.
