Changing the Guard at Windsor Castle - Saturday the 21st of December 2024

The 'Band of the Coldstream Guards' were on the published schedule.
The reality was, 'Pipes of Number 12 Company Irish Guards'.
And there was a mild Storm hitting the country this weekend.
Regardless, the Guards normally march up from the Barracks at 10:45.
That did not happen. There was a car abandoned near the top of Sheet Street.
They had to wait for a tow truck to remove it.
The road was finally cleared at 11:20.
In spite of the rather damp forecast, it actually stayed dry until 11:40.
Nevertheless, it was far too windy for the camera microphone almost anywhere
but on the High Street.
So this... this is really about an abandoned vehicle in Sheet Street.
As with everything om this weird planet, it is NOT just a matter of turning up !
