This Stanley Cup series is a repeat of Oilers entire last season. They began badly and McDavid actually dropped below 100 in the NHL League Leaders list for months. Then they started turning things around, and fought their way all the way back to the Stanley Cup finals. McDavid clawed his way back up to the top three on the points/assist list again. Seems like clawing their way back from the very bottom is what motivates this team. McDavid is now breaking Gretzky's records in post-season play. Truly unbelievable and they deserve to win the Stanley Cup.
Florida is shaken. Not saying a word about the greatness of McDavid or Edmonton. Florida knows they should have won game 5, but what happened? Now its a series, now its a war. Feel the power of the unbelievable Edmonton Oilers. Feel it Florida.

I lived through the entire Gretzky Oiler years, from the day the big news hit the Edmonton newspapers and TV that Nelson Skalbania had just purchased the rights from the Indianopolis Racers to a young rookie named Wayne Gretzky. I watched history being made as that team slowly evolved into one of the greatest Stanley Cup dynasties of all time, with the greatest player of all time. I'm getting a taste of history being made again in Edmonton for this great Oilers team, who once again have the greatest player in the game, and deserve to win the Stanley Cup based on their fantastic team work ethic and self-confidence.

Wanna send some love out to Connor Brown! Like Hyman he is a blue collar player. Even when he was struggling in the season he never complained and just kept on working on his game. To see how he is playing now, when the team needs him the most, is just amazing!

A little Tod bit of info for you all as well, Bouchard is now 5 points off the Coffey record for all time defenseman points in one postseason. Also, McDavid is 5 points off the number 1 spot for points in a postseason, right behind Lemieux and Gretzky . And the oilers are now 1 of only four teams to make a game 6 when 3-0!! Boys are just finding all the records this year!! Hoping that Bouchard and McDavid make those records happen!!oh and I believe💙🧡💙🧡!!

Keep calm, heads down, and focus. This still isn't won. The dream is near, but there are still 2 games to go. Florida isn't here by coincidence. They are a great team, and we need to stay focused to win the next 2 games. That's what we need to do. No other option. I know it feels much better than being down 3-0, but we still can't afford to lose again. Stay focused.

McDavid has been unreal in the last 2 games. I mentioned before Game 7 OT will determine the winner. I hate to imagine the stress you oiler fans are feeling. I keep thinking of the disappointment of Connor Brown and what he has done in these last two games. Reminds me of Peter Klima heroics. If Connor is not back on the Conne Smyth ballot there is something wrong. What about Bob ? He looks human now. Stu has been outstanding again. Game 6 will be tougher but the boys are showing they are more than up to the task. Go Oilers.

I believe Drais is playing hurt. If thats the case the coach needs to use Drai strategically. He cannot be given important Dzone starts when he cant even move around properly. Henrique should be taking the important draws, hes a better faceoff man too! ....I dont know why Drai was out there the last minute and a half when he can barely skate around. I dont know what the coach was thinking. The Oiler dodged a bullet there. Drai should only get Ozone starts and the PP. imo. The coach cannot be risking it, Drai is a defensively liability at the moment.

All the analysts are just terrible. Still not one of them mentioned the 16 game winning streak the Oilers put together, the second longest ever. If it happened a lot Oilers wouldn't be second on that list, I don't understand how these analysts make predictions when they can't even remember kind of telling clues how fucking awesome this team is. Brown has always had heart, and work ethic. He was one guy, I never even once questioned his dedication, not even when he was still goalless after 53 games. It's been a long road of recovery for Brown, and he's starting to get that edge back, that made him the player he was, before the injury.
Couldn't be happier for the guy, and couldn't be happier that he's on this team, in the SCF.
These guys are absolutely crucial to winning. Henrique, Brown, Janmark. They've made a far bigger difference, than many people may realize.
I won't deny that I thought it was over after G3. I have a strong belief that EDM would win G4, to not be swept. Team has far too much heart and pride to go out like that, but I honestly expected a much stronger response from FLA in G5. At this point though? After seeing the game EDM put forth again tonight? I am with McDavid, and I believe. This team could add to special history this year.

Funny how a coach and time changes things, Conor Brown was to be run out of town and Foegele was supposed to be gone. Great coaching and adjustments with timely saves make this believable. But some one tell Skinner to stop playing the puck because it always leads to trouble!😡 As we know shots against doesn’t translate to wins!

Skinner almost fell apart again thanks to the defence zone push with 24 blocks keep them away from skinner I turn into a nervous wreck when panthers shoot on skinner you never know what could happen. Oilers D!!! 💯
Skinner has kept these guys in it early and often. Holloway is going to have a rough sleep knowing he helped Florida start their pushback.
Connors have been awesome and it was nice to have Perry net one.
Holloway and Broberg both had a couple lapses tonight, but in their case, the old saying applies. They're young, and will make some mistakes. Overall though, they've both been great additions to the roster in these playoffs.
For some reason, I didn't feel any sense of worry or panic when they made those gaffes. It's good they survived them, so they could learn form them, and it will help in their remainder of the playoffs.
