I think this video shows how shattered and hurt her is . Her pain is resembled by the colors black and red. Everybody around her is happy and celebrating and everybody is wearing something with color. bright colors I mean.
Everything and everyone is moving in reverse except her (she's moving forward): this might mean that it was supposed to be a beautiful thing from the beginning but she was not happy, from the get go.
The chain around her neck, may be resembling the little hope that she had in her (since she loved the guy), of maybe getting a happy ending
Therefore, there is no happy ending. Even the aura around her, is not happy. . all that's left of what was theirs, is the scars all over her, the broken heart and soul while the guy took what was his and his undamaged heart and left her.

The message they were try in to deliver here is clear. She also did explain that there are two world's in this video, there's her stuck in her own world alienated by the broken heart and there's a world where people are celebrating life but she can't enjoy those celebrations due to the broken heart. Some people were complaining she's not singing, my take was who has the energy to open their mouth/talk when sad and depressed. She does say in her song "wena washiya umphefumlo wam wonakele", her spirit is broken and when someone's spirit is broken/depressed nothing matters to them hence she's walking around like nothing is happening. I'm guessing they didn't want to go with the cliche, "penthouse" "plates flying around" "argument" "then she's left crying in the penthouse/car crying"

My take on the video is that Yanga is depressed(black dress), according to my understanding when someone is depressed nothing in life matters. I thought the marching band represents her youth which she cant enjoy due to the broken heart. "Ngoba washiya umpefumlo wam wonakele" , she was hurt so much that it disconnected her from reality where everyone is happy but she's stuck in this world of distraught, brokenness, depression and heartache. Back to the depression nothing matters part, that's why shes not singing she feels like no one will understand what she's going through or rather she's talked about it and she no longer has it in her to talk about it. The "guy" destroyed her hence she walks around with no direction. That's just my 2cents❤

I'm such a huge fan and follower of this young lady. She's so talented and handled herself so well under the pressures of reality shows. With that said, I have to say this video does not do justice for her amazingness. You can even do better with a simple phone only. Here's what I mean:
