    in my very humble opinion, as long as Martha plays Robert Schumann's music, he is NOT dead. His music lives through her, and it goes right into my soul!

    Martha Argerich in her 80th year. - I have watched this video over the years since the performance and could not stop myself any longer from commenting. I have studied Classical Music since the 1960s and still present a weekly Classical Music Programme on FM Radio in Australia. First may I say; any one who criticises this lady; just go away. To the top professional musicians; she like Liszt is a Grandmaster of Piano - Level 10 in my opinion; one in every 100 years. Look at the sheer awe and stunned exhilaration of orchestra members, particularly lead violinists crying; - they knew they were in the company of genius; Yes like Liszt - Martha is a Grandmaster of Piano. Even Schumann and Liszt would have been overwhelmed and - Oh - she does not need sheet music in front of her. I challenge anyone; who says this woman is not the world's greatest living pianist - whether MALE or FEMALE - The lead violinists cannot stop the tears raining down their faces as they defers to Genius.

      The problem is with the una corda function. Sometimes, it shifts the keyboard and hammers too far and so the hammer hits two different notes.

    complicidad de la pifeada con los músicos.la escuchan con emoción admiración y orgullo .
    ella está más allá de todo es una genia 1:53

    • @maumoya7075
      @maumoya7075 5 років тому +7

      No fue una pifiada, tenés que ver bien el video. Ella toca la nota Sol# con el 5 dedo, no se le resbala, pasa que ese piano tiene un problema con el pedal de "una corda". Evidentemente, ese pedal esta mal regulado, lo que hace que la martillera se corra a la derecha más de lo normal y hace que, al tocar esa nota, el martillo corrido más de lo normal a la derecha, termina percutiendo una de las cuerdas de la nota La conjuntamente con una cuerda de la nota Sol#, por eso se escucha como pifie, cosa que no es cierto. Además, es evidente en la reacción de Argerich, ya que ella, si lo ves en otros videos, se da cuenta cuando pifia y no lo disimula. Ella comúnmente hace gestos cuando pifia o se sonríe, pero esta vez estando segura de haber tocar la nota correcta, se sorprende de que suene mal. Hay que ser pianista para darse cuenta de que no pifió y en mi caso, como técnico de piano que soy, me doy cuenta de la mala regulación de la martillera de ese piano, cosa que explica el mal sonido de ese Sol# en 'una corda'. Otra cosa, luego de escuchar ese mal sonido, Argerich no vuelve a usar el pedal de 'una corda' hasta que termina la pieza, para evitar que siga sonando mal, ya que se vuelven a escuchar muchos Sol# de la misma tecla y ya no se siguen escuchando mal, lo que habla muy bien de la forma en que Argerich es capaz de darse cuenta del problema que tiene el piano, y le evita al público y a ella misma seguirlo escuchando. En esta pieza de Schumann, la utilización del pedal de 'una corda' es habitual, por eso Argerich lo usa, confiada en que el piano le respondería de la mejor manera, cosa que no ocurrió en este caso.

    Beaucoup d'accrochages , une cargaison de fausses notes que l'on excuse à la grande dame du piano...mais qui anéantiraient immanquablement un jeune pianiste pour sa première prestation ou en début de carrière.
    Cela dit , cette " version " à bout de souffle est loin d'être une référence.Il aurait mieux valu que Martha ARGERICH prenne un autre bis dans ce moment de fatigue physique très perceptible.
    Mais je pense toujours à cette injustice qui ferait tomber un pianiste en début de carrière avec tant de défaillances techniques , alors que pour une grande pianiste consacrée les gens applaudissent bêtement.L'on ne prête qu'aux riches et aux puissants.Mais un jour viendra où cela cessera !!!
