Love all the trinkets! Sounds silly but is Welsh the main language spoken there? Or is it half and half?
mainly english actually! when we were colonised by england we were made to speak only english and the welsh language was banned, similar to what happened with ireland, so now sadly it’s only really spoken as a first language in the north and west parts of wales. although there’s recently been some rules implemented in schools to get young people more fluent, so hopefully the amount of welsh speakers will increase
Certain areas speak more Welsh than others, especially the older generations.
I live in the North where Welsh is the main language. Xx 🏴
