I'm fortunate enought to own one. From may 82'. It's branded as "Fender Squier Series". The earliest ever made. When I bought it, 20 years ago, I knew it was a very special bass. The more I played it, the more I loved it. Mine is 2-tone sundburst.
Fantastic sounding bass man! I just purchased exactly the same bass. Only has a fender/ badass modern bridge (sounds fine, just ethnically looks wrong on a vintage bass). Do you know the exact model of the bass? Is it a 57,58 or a 59 reissue? I am looking for a replacement bridge
Hey there, it's some kind of coral red - don't know the exact name, but when you google Squire JV brochure, you'll maybe can find out what the name is by looking into the brochure!
Hi. I have one from the 1992 Japanese bash. The one I own have rosewood fingerboard. The body is basswood, not alder. In terms of overall sound and tone mine is so close to yours that is astounding, even with different fingerboards. I would say that the "secret" in this beatiful tone is the ceramic split coil pick-up. Ceramic magnets have this rounder, flatter (not a bad word, in terms of string volume 😉), hotter output, and character, in comparison to the features in alnico pick-ups, usually found on Fenders. Honestly, I cannot let my Squier quiet. I play it almost everyday. It is simply amazing. Great instrument you have there. Cheers from Brazil!

It's named as 57' replica.👌 But is the bridge the same of a real 57' ? I don't know.
What amp are you running through? Wonderful Paul Jackson tone
hey Fostervalle2483, I use a Noble Tube DI running straight into my DAW, no amp...
Amazing tone! What model of La bella are you using?
Hey David, I think it's the classic LaBellas - love em!! :)
Beautiful bass! I just love maple necks. Do you know by the way the radius of the neck, 7,25" /or 9,5"?
thanks :) Actually I don't know, but maybe google knows the answer ;)
paul jackson tone!!
hey Marto, definitely!! Always was looking for a Precision bass with that tone!!
Nice vid, what’s the neck like on this? Oval c?
yes something like that
Hello, did you know which color it is? It looks like fiesta red, but I don't think they did that color until 2011. Thanks.

I think you are correct about fiesta red. I have a few fiesta red precisions and yours certainly looks like one. @@olilutz

Tone town
Amazing tone!!! The body is basswood or alder?
hey cecilia, not sure if it is alder or sen ash ... :(
I would guess if on the heavier side alder, if lighter the Sen ash or even basswood...
