I'm a survivor of NF in 2015 at age 21 got it in my left arm pit was a coma for three weeks with multiple organ failure, then once stable I was moved to a burns unit for skin graft and closure. Still get small infections and terrible in my scar tissue to this day but it's better than being dead.
My girlfriends dad went through 40+ surgeries. It traveled from his lower wrist up his arm and across his chest. He unfortunately lost his arm, after being admitted for two and a half months. As a child I use to swim in filthy ponds and creeks, many times I would get cuts from the broken glass at the bottom of these places and I was fine and still jump and continue swimming in them. Never me or any of my buddies had even an infection much less flesh eating bacteria. But all this happened in Europe I guess we don’t have this kind of bacteria there.

Inch round area to now is the size of a 50cent piece. Unfortunately, I had a culture of the area done last week and it came back abnormal for streptococcus agalacteia type b, so I’m on antibiotics currently. I was hoping to be better 😢

My tonsil still feels like a rock is in .y throat and there is...a lot of blood but the pain is gone...ish. The dr was baffled. He came back asking how I was even still alive. My herbs baby. I lived like this for a week before I threw in the towel lol.

I have notice at first my skin is turning red and itchy and a moments later, my skin water, swollen and my flesh fell off and a bit of blood come out. Then I just remember, why don't I tried apple cider since I remember apple cider cured the skin infection of my dog was treated. Then I put apple cider on the skin infected area, after that the watery skin has dried off and there is no itchy anymore. The bleeding stops and my wound is healed.

Everyone can have the bacteria, but only a few people have a weak inmune system, due to many factors

I looked everyone online and not alot is known bout this disease but one thing that i just dont understand is if necrotizing fasciitis is caused by the same bacteria ( that i read) that lives in your throat and nose then does it mean if i were to rub some from a person who has it in their throat with a swab then rub it on your wound....would you then get necrotizing fasciitis?? Does anyone know??

I don't think so. I think the bacteria in your throat is different than the bacteria that causes the infection.

You get it from exposure to certain strains of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria. What makes these bacteria so dangerous, is the proteins they are able to synthesize.

Actually I have experience this flesh eating bacteria and the only cure that I use is apple Cider :)

I have notice at first my skin is turning red and itchy and a moments later, my skin water, swollen and my flesh fell off and a bit of blood come out. Then I just remember, why don't I tried apple cider since I remember apple cider cured the skin infection of my dog was treated. Then I put apple cider on the skin infected area, after that the watery skin has dried off and there is no itchy anymore. The bleeding stops and my wound is healed.
