Great runs! I did confirm with my nephew he's only been on 3s, his is completely stock as well. That little truck is a beast and handles really good once you get used to it. Our HBX 2997a trucks handle like a tricycle with no handle bars, without modifications 😅
@@BriansRCStuff no that's a typo on my part if I put 70, i meant 50. Actually his truck I just seen the video last night ,went 52.3mph with the same battery I see you run alot, the Turnigy I believe (spelling?
It is. I do like the angle they went with the stock 3s as the ESC comes in a slower mode with the punch turned way down plus on the transmitter you can turn it down to 70 percent. I like you have the extra power if you want it but can also drive it more conservatively. You have to unlock the extra power as well so a beginner is kind of already set up with a more controllable speed. Also, in theory 3s is more efficient when run at less than full load so it is kind of win win to me! 😎 I do worry that within included USB charger it will take a pretty long time to charge it, however between it already being 2000 mAh and a 3s on top of that. I will test that when back from vacation!
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers thanks man! The parts are the same as the MJX hyper go for the most part so I think equivalent to most other online parts. It came with so many extra parts as well, which was awesome. I was amazed. I have no doubt it’ll go well over 50 on one of my hottest 3S Lipo!

When editing the video, I noticed I smacked that curb a little harder than I initially thought.
@@BriansRCStuff we all have that happen, character marks 😉
Wow 47 on stock 3s, that’s awesome!! I’d say it’s a good truck
👍👍 nice truck !
