Despite a few quibbles, as a film….a collection of moving photos telling a story, a great movie and Sergio Leones Homage to the American Western. Cinematography was EXCELLENT. The music by his often used compatriot, Ennio Morricone lived up to his rep as a great film composer with s great score.

I still think Clint Eastwood's spaghetti Westerns were the best ! This movie is more of a watch every 5 years campared to watch every few months like the Eastwood westerns.

Anytime you get out a movie is specially when it comes to elderly westerns somebody is always going to say, these words. “Best Western Ever-Made!” Or, something along these lines. “Out of all the westerns I’ve ever seen,-This is absolutely the best one!” I will say this! This is one of the Best western movies I have ever seen. And I have seen many of them and not just the ones made in the 60s early 70s. But also going back through the 50s & the 40s.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST is often considered the BEST & most developed of all the "spaghetti" westerns, even better than the 3 that Clint Eastwood starred in. I kinda agree...more GRITTY, more intense & more violent (as wild West often was!). Great cast of actors/ characters. It's often considered the ULTIMATE spaghetti Western. I actually bought it in DVD.😮
