Not really string is very common and once you have one bamboo, you could just make a farm for the stuff. Better yet, just automate it

For #2, it’s because the “walls” are lower than the fences, meaning the gates are lowered, but the middle one isn’t.
Do u mean the walls r bigger and the fences go up to connect but the middle one doesn’t have a wall to go up for?

To make a working fridge, you can add a dispenser with food in it and put a lever next to the fridge/dispenser
Tip for the double walls:first do the inside walls and then the outside ones to make sure you have the space

I just finished watching this during the 1.19 update, and wow! Although a lot of this is outdated, there were still several tips that I didn't know about and ways to inspire. Maybe you can do an update to this video soon or after 1.20 comes out.

Still useful to this day
Cobble is basically cracked stone, use that for a used but worn mineshaft
Plus stairs/slabs, buttons, and a short concealed red stone build w falling gravel.
And vines. Don’t forget them.
Plus moss. Bone meal a block of it in the ground to make more mossy decorations.

A tip for building bunkers in Minecraft is to always have a large space for stairs as ladders are horrendous so stairs or water elevators are the go to option also use beacons and stuff to make electrical plants if it’s a fallout bunker

Adding onto the beacons thing, you can stack multiple colors on one another to either deepen a shade by stacking multiple of that same color on top of each other, or make slightly different shades with white and black glass

I don't think Mojang got it from him. Because that idea was in servers and etc. way before this video was made.
It was actually a texture in the game files already. You could get them, but you would need commands.

After the unconnected red stone was changed, they made it so by right clicking it makes it a circle as a saving grace for builders

You could use slab to make a unique chair just put a slab then put Trap door at the side and put a door In the back
building tip 102: you can make a working sleeping bag by making the floor around a bed covered with slabs. this makes it so that only a little bit is sticking out making it look like a sleeping bag.
