Calcium channel ( L type) is also present in endocrine cells causing hormone release, so when we administer ccb for angina or hypertension... Will it affect the hormone release??? If yes or no.. I want to now why??? Thank you
Yes you are right. It may affect the release of hormone but their potency is not markable most of the time as it is maintained by hypothalamus feedback.
One doubt sir Calcium channel blockers causes arteriolar dilation and it decreases heart rate which in turns leads to decreased cardiac output Cardiac output refers to decreased blood output which means less oxygen output Right sir Angina is caused due to increasing demand of body which in turn makes heart to work hard My doubt is if cardiac output is reduced then how does oxygen in blood meets the demand of other organs of body
Mr Reddi Sree here the blockers decrease b.p. up to a substantial level so that the homeostasis will be maintained without affecting that much to other organs perfusion level.

@@solutionpharmacy okay sir, thank you for replying.
Sr what is the meaning of subendocardial crunch $how is it related to pressure as shown in kd tripathi book diagram.plz answr srr
Sr plz answr my doubt
If Oxygen Caring capacity of hemoglobin decreases then also angina will take place right ?
May be
Sir very nice video
Thank you
One doubt sir
Calcium channel blockers causes arteriolar dilation and it decreases heart rate which in turns leads to decreased cardiac output
Cardiac output refers to decreased blood output which means less oxygen output
Right sir
Angina is caused due to increasing demand of body which in turn makes heart to work hard
My doubt is if cardiac output is reduced then how does oxygen in blood meets the demand of other organs of body
Mr Reddi Sree here the blockers decrease b.p. up to a substantial level so that the homeostasis will be maintained without affecting that much to other organs perfusion level.
Angina is caused because there is some blockage in the coronary artery preventing the heart to nourish itself properly.
Will angina lead to CHF if angina is not treated
May be
