Saw them open for Dream Theater Saturday March 12, 2022, they were magnificent and phenomenal. Superb performance. A better opening band for DT could not possibly have been chosen.
@@HorologicRannygazoo Where would they all fit? Both bands take up nearly every square inch of sheet as it is. Two together would be Zappa's black pages all over again... Should definitely do it.
The music is charming enough, but what I appreciate most here is the smiling. There's no coldness in the performance, just joy and sincerity. Great job, guys.
There's something really endearing and awesome about the comp of the keyboards in this. Reminds me of the 70s and 80s before everyone started programming all their synth parts. It feels "played" and not programmed
You listen to dream theater? Huge shades of their keyboardist in Joey's playing, in a good way of course. Different genres to an extent but his playing gives me the same feeling
@@kidtrinity2157 Prog metal, especially like this, I think is safe to say is in the same genre as DT. More specifically Liquid Tension Experiment. While those artists shaped my musical tastes when I was young, I find this infinitely more engaging than either of hose collaborations.
@@Kira-qc4qi that's fair! I definitely agree on the similarities between them. I just think "progressive metal" to be a sort of catchall term these days is all. When bands like porcupine tree (who rule, of course, but are much less progressive in terms of songwriting than any of these bands) fall under the same classification it feels weird to denote the similarities without also denoting their differences. Just my personal opinion and certainly not one I expect to influence anybody
OK...I'm here because I never heard of Arch Echo until yesterday (when I bought tickets to see Dream Theater in November). First impression is that this is really great music! There is a lot of musical joy in this song and I'll be checking out more of your videos over the weekend...
I cant do ANYTHING when i listen to this. I sit totally mesmerized and could almost cry under the power, brilliance, beauty and joy of this spectacular masterpiece. Thank you Arch Echo! One of my favorite songs of all time and im genuinely shocked and confused you dont have hundreds of millions of views!
Just saw you guys live on February 23, and the standing ovation we gave you when you opened for Dream Theater was WELL-DESERVED. You guys made me a fan INSTANTLY. Good job on all of you guys.
I'll be honest... I don't know why this showed up in my recommended, but, my god... This fucking shreds! If the rest of the upcoming EP is this good, I think I might shit my boots.
Hey man. That’s a dope compliment. Thanks for enjoying the new tune! We all appreciate when people stumble upon our music, and I’m stoked that you’re stoked!
@@Richie.Martinez Thought you'd appreciate knowing that this is already in my spotify playlist. Huge respect for you being so quick with your reply! Like I said, look forward to the EP!
I just love how the music video is just five dudes having a blast. No posing, no costumes. Just the celebration of music and their respective instruments.
Okay, I think well over 20 times listening to this song is enough to finally comment on this unsurprising masterpiece. This song is so fun! Epic... It's a journey through a plethora of emotions, expressed in such a way that a return to the liveliness of the supremely energetic catch-melody was tear-jerking and a brilliant relief after such an impressive line of talent springs from everyone in the band. This song has me so incredibly stoked on the EP, as the indication of excellence certainly lies in this song. Thanks for another fantastic video! I greatly look forward to hearing the rest. In the meantime, this song resumes its repeat.
This song has the greatest keyboard solo I have ever heard. So many fast super melodic runs and arpeggios packed into it. Sick bends. Two handed technique. Super satisfying.
This is, without any shadow of a doubt, the most underrated band i have ever stumbled upon in my entire life. I have never seen such energy and such amazingly high production quality. Listening to this just throws your mood to the moon and back (pun definitely intended) and leaves you with a feeling if raw satisfaction. Insane...
My last concert of 2020 was these guys opening for plini in february in ft.lauderdale. And I'm pretty happy to say that as it was memorable for me actually liking the opening band I never heard of. Arch echo was incredible🤘 and so is this track.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! You guys are like Liquid Tension Experiment if they were a grinder that was made for someone with a dairy allergy: cheese free. That song thar what was amazing.
it's funny ... these comments about how nerdy / geeky this video comes off ... however, there is absolutely NOTHING common about their level of musicianship, writing, engineering, performance, chops ... it's the highest of the highest level.
These guys are on another level. As a pretty skilled and technical musician I will say that these guys are extremely extremely talented. Also they way the keyboardist follows the guitar in those leads and pitch shifts it in parallel to the guitar. So fucking sick!!!!
Saw you guys open for Dream Theater March 2022 in NC. Had no idea what I was in for but was blown away by the live show and ever since then you’ve been one of my favorite bands.

I was brought here by Anthony Vincent's "Master of Puppets in 50 Styles" video. Arch Echo's version got my vote; I'd never heard AE before, but that 10 seconds was sicknasty, and these full songs are amazing!
