I saw these Tangente Date Watches on release at Watches and Wonders and they put a huge smile on my face. 31 colours (one for each day of the month as you said) and limited to 175 pieces of each to celebrate 175 years of Watchmaking in Glashutte. The lugs are a bit of a sticking point with many people, very thin and a little long in comparison to their thickness but, I guess a larger wrist than yours would be able to manage it. Maybe one of their Club Campus 36 range would suit you better size wise but, you wouldn’t get as many funky dial options to choose from I guess. Rather than the Chili one you reviewed I like a lot of the others. The Sportbunt, the Ziegelblau, the Boje, the Zirkus, the Poporange and the Katzengold all stand out to me as funky colours that I feel I could pull off. Great that you got to review these for us Lucy. I haven’t seen many reviews of these Watches so far. Nice work! ✊
Yes! Exactly this. I love that they're fun and brought some joy to watches. Some brands go for one serious and special watch for their anniversary so I'm glad they went in a different direction. Quite refreshing! Sadly being part of the itty-bitty-wrist-committee does limit me, but I can still appreciate a good design. I have seen the club campus ones..they are fun too but still not quite connected with them. Haha you have the same issue as me! How the heck do you pick just one colourway when there are so many good ones?! 😂 Thanks so much for watching! I've seen a lot of these of insta but not many youtube reviews. Glad you enjoyed 😊
My first luxury "big boy" watch purchase was the original Nomos Club Datum, about ten or so years ago. Loved it to pieces but eventually parted ways -- they do wear so much larger than their stated diameter.
I love that you started with Nomos! A refreshing change from the usual Breitling or Rolex! Did your tastes just change? Once you start it's hard to stop with watches 😂 and I know our preferences grow over time.
Thanks for the video. Nomos makes really cool looking watches but those long lugs, at least on that model, have kept me from buying one. I have a large wrist so I could pull it off easily, but the lugs just look so weird.
Thanks for watching! 😊 I have limited experience with Nomos so not sure how the others wear, but the lug and case designs are just aesthetically larger than the dimensions suggest. Interesting you feel the same with a larger wrist!
Can't believe a watch at this price doesn't have a proper quick date setting. Man that's surely so important on an automatic watch with a normal power reserve (circa 42 hrs) for example after the weekend. Truly shocked!
As I didn't like the fit on my wirst, it's going to be more prominent on yours. If you don't mind the lugs hanging over then go for it, but if not then I think it'll be too big. Hope that helps!
Nomos just doesn't do anything for me sadly. The lug design doesn't suit my small wrist, the simple designs bore me even in the fun colours. I think Bauhaus designs just don't do anything for me, as they never do it for me. I just watched the video because I find your videos entertaining :)
Totally appreciate that. It's not for everyone and while I can and do appreciate the design, it's not for me either. Is there a Nomos you do like? Thank you for tuning in even if you're not into the watch! 😊
I used to think the same thing. I found their design too minimalist for my liking. However, they've been winning me over with their fun colors and lovely movement finishing.
@@TheWatchBoxDiaries so far the only one I have liked was a limited edition purple campus club. But that was just because of the purple dial I would have wanted any watch in that colour.

Nomos is just not my thing. I totally respect and appreciate what they do, however. Hope they keep doing well! Cheers!
Absolutely! I'm with you tbh. Waiting on that perfect one to connect with! Thanks for watching 😊

Nomos finishing is always excellent, no matter what their price point is.
I've got limited experience with Nomos but these are finished really well. Hopefully I'll get to review more and I can confirm!

I like your attitude and demeanor - always up - but you don't half wave your arms about!
😂😂😂 I should do a Talking Hands section! I'll try and keep them more contained next time. I just get excited 😬😂
I really want one but I have a small wrist as well and no places to try one.
What is your wrist size?
@@TheWatchBoxDiaries 6" or 15.25cm.

Too much dial & not enough lug, somehow? Nice colours - I’m sure will appeal to the female youth.
