I'm here because David Graham, who voiced Aloysius Parker has died at the age of 99. Thank you David Graham, for everything you have done for people all over the world who grew up with you in Thunderbirds, Stingray, Four Feather Falls, The Secret Service, Fireball XL5, Supercar & so many more films & TV shows. I think you should have been knighted. There aren't words enough to thank you. Rest In Peace sir. My thoughts & condolences are with David Graham, David's family, friends, colleagues, people who worked with him over the years, everyone else who knew & loved David & fellow fans
It’s only today, on David’s 99th birthday, that I discovered this interview. It’s amazing to see him and hear him doing well despite suffering a stroke in 2021. What a legend!
I’m dreading the day he dies. The day he dies the old thunderbirds will officially die in my books. I’ll still spend thousands upon thousands of pounds on thunderbirds memorabilia but once he goes I know watching thunderbirds will never be the same
He actually had quite prolific career and was in high demand for voice overs due to his ability to speak in many foreign and British accents, he had provided voice’s for many of Gerry Anderson’s characters, before and after Thunderbirds, he also did the voice for ‘Brains’ , ‘Gordon Tracy’ and ‘Kyrano’…he was one of first voices for the DALEKS , a part he returned to in 2023 ,he was also an actor in his own right , appearing on both theatre and TV and once shared the stage with Sir Lawrence Olivier and Leonard Rossiter, he had parts in several TV programs, usually playing a villain, in 2009 he played ‘Edward Elgar ‘ in ‘Stirring Spirit’ and ‘Albert Einstein’ in 2005 for a Horizon docudrama . He also became the voice for ‘Papa Pig’ in the childrens TV program ‘ Peppa Pig’, his voice was often heard in several TV adverts. But to many people he is affectionally remembered as ‘Parker’ . R.I.P David Graham….. “ Will that be all, Mer Lady “?
Amazing man,and so humble.Emphasising that he had a lot of luck and only a little talent. No david you are super talented ,not just on Thunderbirds, with parker, brains and gordon, but several other characters, from supercar to joe 90.Thanks for all the memories david, you are a true legend, all the best.
This is a great interview. What a humble talented man he is. Thank's for all for your work David. Always loved Parker! This Fab 1 recreation is outstanding! Well done Scalextric. Race On!
What an absolute treasure. I hope you realises how much joy his characters have brought over the years to fans like me. My favourite Parker moment is when he got sloshed in the back of FAB-1 with a fellow chauffeur after swapping a bottle of champagne that Lady Penelope was intending to use for a ship launching, for a bottle of Johnnie Walker 😆😆😆
That’s my favourite moment to He was fast asleep and his response to lady Penelope still makes me laugh. The only time a character in on of Gerry Andersons shows got blind drunk. David is a real treasure, 99yo and hope he makes it to 100
I asked David around 4 years ago what his secret was at an appointment I had with him and he said it’s because he didn’t get married 😂 I never saw him again but have followed his recovery online whenever he pops into my head! Happy birthday you lovely man!
What a wonderfully humble gentleman, the way he says "I had the talent" and then goes on to say so do a lot of people but they don't get the opportunity, yet it wasn't conceited at all, just matter of fact. Would love to have the chance to meet him. And to think Parker's voice was inspired by a pub waiter; I wonder how he feels if he knows? I know if it was me I'd be honoured.
Very unfortunate that people are making fun of his death online and even on this video’s comments. Mainly from a rotten rat named Debra. Rest in peace to the legend
Wow, maybe take a break from the internet? 😂 Not only is that "guy" a legend, he literally had a scalextric slot car of the Thunderbirds Fab-1 in his hands at the beginning of the video, and here you are asking "who is this guy" and what does he have to do with Slot Cars! 😂🙄
