How can they not? I'm a North Korean activist, and the wording and animation style in this advert is SO similar to what defectors have described to me as being subjected to as children that hearing it in the USA is like a punch in the gut to me.
But again, how can they _not_ politicize children like this? If your goal is to grab power and make sure you never have to release it, then you can't afford _not_ to do this to children. You MUST do this to children specifically.
The NK defectors I've met had very, very serious trouble believing the true history of the world and the true nature of their Dear Leader once they finally made it to a place where they were taught the truth. Often, it actually takes years for these fully grown adults to get to a place mentally where they'll actually accept that their leader was a dictator who brainwashed them-- even after the evidence is all around them and obvious to everyone else.
This is specifically because of what was done to them as kids. As heartbreaking as it is, Disney's strategy here is a wildly effective one.... ... until of course the people whose bidding Disney is currently doing decide one day that they no longer like Disney, which always happens by the way-- the "revolutionaries" who help authoritarians grab power are always the first to be "deleted" once the authoritarian actually _gets_ that power.
