I also only saw this film a few months ago and was blown away by how beautiful it was. The fact that it is a true story makes it extraordinary. Most definitely now in my top 5 WLW films.

One of my all-time favorite movies and knowing it is based in fact only endears it more. I watched it when it was first released to cinema, then bought it on DVD and tend to watch it at least once a year, if not more.

A wonderfully acted film Elizabeth was from where I live and didn’t in my opinion get the credit for her invention and work involved in making the lie detector work. For the time that this “life style” came about it would have led to prison sentences for all. Olive and Elizabeth’s love for each other and for William knows no bounds. Yes it’s possible to love more than one person at a time and to keep everyone happy if all are agreeable. It’s my all time favourite lesbian film. Truly genius.

I too felt like olive only loved elizabeth. Elizabeth & the professor's dynamic felt like friendship/partnership but they lacked passion/romance. The chemistry between elizabeth & olive was 🔥! They never looked at the professor the way they looked at each other. You said it! "It truly shines a light on 2 incredible women who when united, embodied the essence of wonder woman". 🙌🏻 They really did feel like 2 halves of a whole!

O filme é extraordinário e a historia de amor delas também. Sim, também sou da opinião de que Olive só aceitou estar com o professor, para poder estar com a Elizabeth. E acho que ele também sabia disso, ele tinha noção que elas se amavam mais as duas do que a ele, e por isso sempre incentivou esse amor. Que bom que ficam juntas até final 💞
