Honestly, Areum is really talented and sometimes seems overqualified for her job because she does simple tasks that the other members on her design team should easily be able to accomplish. There is a common theme of people getting jobs through family connections/influence so it's easy to figure out how the 3 remaining members of the design team got their jobs. This being said, even if Areum got her job bc of her dad it was a huge mistake demoting her because that team is falling apart without her. Thank God her dad spoke up for her. Also, in my opinion, I don't think Philip really loves Areum anymore. He definitely loved her at a certain point but now that his ex has been introduced it is clear that he realizes he made a mistake not marrying Areum who BTW would never do what his ex is doing. The only problem is he loves the Areum from the past not the mother struggling to support her daughter. That's why I don't think they should be together. She has had so much personal growth and now Philip is impeding and even regressing her progress.

And Phillip's wife finally making an appearance regarding their ridiculously drawn out divorce. This drama is about to go completely crazy town. I need to start mentally preparing myself for all the outrageous things that are about to happen.

I totally agree! Her parents are suddenly so happy to have Areum home and with Tiffany because Philip is in the picture. Why can't they be proud that she is trying to support herself and her daughter on her own? They believe her happiness is completely dependent on her being with a man which she has clearly shown is not her idea of happiness. People may say she needs to makeup her mind but by denying both Phillip and Seungun she is saying she doesn't need them to live a good life. On the other hand, I understand why Areum isn't quitting her job because it is her dream job. And yes she unknowingly got her position through her father, but she has worked harder than anyone else on her team bc it is her passion. I think she is staying now bc she still hopes to be promoted again and to persevere for Tiffany. IMO, the best thing at this point since she has already committed to the idea would be to quit and be with Philip. EVEN THOUGH he is still shady AF she isn't really helping anyone (herself or Tiffany) by working herself into the ground and struggling to work everyday if she is already agreeing to get back with Philip (which I really don't like).
