I’ve stopped update my iphone 11 at ios 16.5. Because I understand that newer ios will require newer engine to run. So don’t expect to much with your old iphone. Buy the new one, thats what apple expect you to do 😂

The more you update an iPhone the more worst and slower is becomes; I had my iPhone 11 on iOS 14.5 since I bought it back in 2020. I just updated the OS a few days ago and the phone now get really; really hot and kills the battery fast 🪫😢

not entirely true, my iphone 11 pro max went from ios 13.5.1 to ios 16.7.2 last October and felt so nice and with no noticeable battery life drop.
check your battery health first

I just updated my ip 11 on 17.5.1 from 15.5 and luckily nothing happens to my iphone 11 and the battery and performance was in still good!
