Wow nice video. I like that vintage MacNeil tunnel and they used to have those vintage wraps over longtime sense my town with older vintage wraps were red over the Exxon Gas Station with a Mark VII Aquajet tunnel for longtime ago.
This is a great find! Thanks for posting.
Thanks! This has been in the back of my mind for 2 years, and only now have I gotten to film it. I’m so glad it stayed.
How do brushes get that bad
I’d only worry about that rear left wrap around near the beginning scraping the paint off the car given that most of it was exposed and not fully covered with the soft cloth like the other brushes were. Otherwise this is a hidden gem.
I agree, they need to fix that. I’m not sure if it’s possible however, because it looks like a proprietary core.
MacNeil must've had cloth wrap around washers back then!
They sure did!
I've seen an image of MacNeil RS-100s using filament instead of cloth on an older timeline from MacNeil's website on web archive.
@@ncautowashes2889 That’s awesome!
Vintage MacNeil equipment is not easy to find.
In fact, it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to find.
This is old school macneil system
I believe before this version of the superflex wraps were made, there was another version that is shown in this video ua-cam.com/video/5X9ismq4Lpw/v-deo.html (with cloth). Also for some reason Macneil at one point had the modern day superflex wraps with closed-cell foam material, I dont know if it was a retrofit or something from gallop or another material company, but thats the only time it has been captured (ua-cam.com/video/4kgTs0WcqRg/v-deo.html)
