Put them in the bag Rick! I like the fact they are a premium lesser known brand. It makes them more exclusive. I don’t think price comes into it when the product is clearly a cut above. What a beautiful looking set of clubs.
Had a putter fitting a few months back and all the data went in favour of the bettinardi innovate 0.9 mallet putter... I have to admit I wanted a Cameron, but they didn't suit me at all, so got the Bettinardi and its improved my scoring so much...I really like the fact that they aren't in everyone's bag and not everyone uses them.
I think I disagree on the brand moving forward, I’m new to golf and a high handicapper, however I found a Bettinardi putter for sale at a Tip shop of all places for £2 and loved it so much I ended up buying a full set of used Bettinardi wedges. The craftsmanship and attention to detail gives me confidence that this brand know what they are doing!
I use a Bettinardi putter. Destroys any Scottie I’ve ever seen. They have some special sauce at this company and you’re missing out if you just want the same stuff everyone else has.
I equate Bettinardi with really high quality putters, so I could easily see them putting that premium quality into their irons. Would love to play those beautiful things.
I'm so glad you're reviewing/testing out Bettinardi clubs. Their headquarters is about 7 minutes from my parent's house in a small town just southwest of Chicago. My brother has their putter and it's amazing.
I saw a Bettinardi BB 51 a few years ago and had to buy one,ma great looking putter from the guy who invented making great putters without having mass production. At the same time I purchased a set of Muira CB 501 irons. Yes expensive but fantastic looking irons and still gaming them. I sold the Bettinardi putter last year for more than I paid for it. I think if you buy something that’s top quality and great looking you might not ever change so a great investment. One thing that annoys me with today’s mass produced top brand clubs is the way they con the buyer. My 7 iron is the normal Muira loft of 34 degrees whereas some brands use 27 degree, 28, 29 etc and say they go further. That’s a lie as you have been sold a 5 iron or 6 iron not a 7 iron. Great show 👏🏻
Totally agree. Also though, I like traditional lofts more now that I’ve made the transition. Gives me an opportunity to build the top of my bag out more with a hybrid and/or 5w

TaylorMade filed a lawsuit against Kirkland for patent infringement alleging Kirklands irons were based on proprietary technology. The reality is the golf industry is rife with clones and knockoffs and there are no lawsuits against the myriad of golf clubs built in Asia. A lot of reviews have said the Kirkland irons perform as well as the TaylorMade irons while TaylorMade has said that the Kirkland irons are not as good as TaylorMade irons. There is a lot of speculation that TaylorMade is suing Kirkland because the Kirkland irons are half the price with comparable performance which calls into question why Kirkland vs all the knockoffs and clones on the market. Their biggest fear is a large company like CostCo/Kirkland has deep pockets and is putting out an affordable product which calls into question why are TaylorMade irons so expensive.
@@FlyRiverFly Taylormade irons are so expensive because they need to pay huge endorsements! Paying Tiger is Millions in cost. Nice vid, wish I could try these! Brand familiarity may be a "big problem" for Bettinardi's sales outlook, but I don't think it should be called out so prominently in a review, because you should be reviewing the clubs from the POV of the golfer who might be considering giving them a try, not the corporate sales outlook. From the golfers' standpoint, price certainly matters, so that's definitely important. But in your final wrap-up, "these are incredible irons" shouldn't sound so much like an afterthought after hammering on Bettinardi's lack of market saturation. It's an undeserved disservice to the manufacturer.

Please review the Decathlon range of clubs, they look OK for the money I'd like to see what you make of them
Are those the vice irons, or at least made in the same factory.
The price may be high but then their putters are pricy too. They are a premium brand and clearly want to be seen that way. If Scotty made irons they'd be expensive too. Hopefully what you get at this price point is exclusivity and very high quality craftsmanship. People, who can afford it, will pay extra for that. That's always been the way in all things.
Please try Takomo irons
This.
@@Q-Realm This, this🤘😎
they’re junk honestly. some of the worst irons i’ve hit
@@Captainchaos14 Really? Im just considering buying Takomo’s
@@Captainchaos14 hmmmm... I haven't heard this take. Care to elaborate? Which model did you try? Genuinely curious. Thanks man😎
shouldn't be an issue, just give a set to any top 10 Pro. best add they can have.
Try Vice new irons!
If these don’t go in your bag at least for a few rounds, idk what’s going on lol. Awesome review
Leave the brand loyalty behind Rick. You dont need the clout of the big names. You just something that works. You struck these irons better than anything you have tried. No errant shots, just good performance.
For rick I agree but on a side note I think what he was referring to is are people willing to spending almost 2 grand when the top brands are like 4-600 dollars cheaper.
He was definitely liking them but had a tough time getting over that price. It's not brand loyalty it's the reality of the market.
You are right, but he is right also because 99% of people don't know this company and they will think who the fuck are they to charge this much! Because they don't know who they are
I literally went to PGA Superstore to order T150’s and walked out ordering these.
4 -6 CB and 7 - P MB. I pick them up tomorrow and can’t wait to try them!
It was $1,600 for the full set plus tax.
Bettinardi are the PRIDE AND JOY OF ILLINOIS!!!
Have you reviewed any Maltby clubs? Their irons and wedges have been getting rave reviews recently across youtube, particularly their player irons... and their price for a set starts at like $500....
